Outfit Post – Wearing Hoodlum Lamorna Faux Fur Hood

I wrote about this Hoodlum Lamorna Faux Fur Hood last week and how it would make a great gift this Christmas. Well, I finally got the opportunity to wear mine the other day and I am so glad I did. The hood is so pretty. It is great for the very cold winter days and nights ahead. The design is amazing and it is great quality. This Lamorna Faux Fur Hood by Hoodlum Clothing is from the limited Winter Lux Collection. It is designed to combat colder weather. The lovely handmade cosy hood is lined with luxury faux fur that locks in warmth, which makes it the perfect addition to my winter wardrobe.

This herringbone has a subtle combination of nature tones that evoke the wilds of the Cornish countryside. The Grey Husky faux fur perfectly colour matches the earth colours of the tweed with its multi-tonal greys and black flecks. This is would look great on a man as well as a women.

A handcrafted hardwood button fastens the hood.

Will sit as a shawl when worn down.

Outfit Post – Surviving the Storm

We enjoyed a few days of some glorious sunshine and warm weather. But I think we won’t be having any more of those type of days for the next few months. Last week was all about Storm Callum and we had to dig out our warm coats and welly boots to survive the storm. We here in North did not have it as bad as some other parts like Wales, but it was very windy and wet.

The storm has left us with a chill in the air so I am happy I had my lovely thick coat and welly boots ready.

I love this coat a lot. It is a new addition to my autumn/winter wardrobe and I am so into. It looks good. The midnight blue colour is one of my favourite shades. And it keeps me very warm thanks to the extra-thick Nanuk 300 Sherpa fleece.

This lovely and practical coat has a wind-resistant exterior which came in very handy last week, If you want a coat that would provide outstanding warmth and protection against external forces, then you should consider this piece.

The welly boots are wearing are new. They are fleece lined for total warmth and are dead comfy. I loved wearing this pair while the storm lasted. And I feel ready for the cold winter months now that I have this in my boots collection. The welly boots are durable, comfortable, practical, stylish and very affordable at just £34. They are also waterproof with removable insole.
