I have always been interested in designing and creating things from scratch. Many years ago, I played around with the idea of becoming a fashion designer. That idea disappeared shortly after naturally. I realised I was not a natural when it came to sewing and designing pieces/accessories. The interest wasn’t really there either. I still remember when a good friend tried to get me into crotchet. She created many lovely little cardigans and blankets for the kiddies when they were babies, but I just wasn’t interested in those sorts of things at all. Fast forward a few years now, we are still in lockdown and there is a lot more time to do many things at home, and I know many people are playing around with baking, cooking, sewing, and a lot more at home. Embroidery designs have been around for a very long time and they are still quite popular. The easiest way to describe embroidery is as an art of decorating using materials like fabrics, pearls, beads, sequins, and quills, alongside a needle to apply thread. Embroidery designs are always very eye-catching and artistic. I find them very creative which is why they always catch my attention. You can easily spot embroidery designs on caps, hats, dresses, skirts, tops, blankets, coats, dress shirts, and many more. The designs always stand out so beautifully, which is why I love going for pieces and accessories with some embroidered pattern on them.

Embroidery file formats are the ways in which embroidery designs are saved in a software format or a machine format. Usually. you will need to have an embroidery machine and the right software to transfer files to your machine so you can use the designs. Before you purchase an embroidery design, you will need to find out which format will be compatible with your machine. Ecommerce Fashion Brand: Adding More Items Through Collaboration

As a fashion brand that is trying to break out and compete with the big dogs, you will always be on the hunt for more items to put on sale on your website. Many brands are collaborating together because it’s simply too expensive to go it completely alone these days. Small business owners and entrepreneurs are also doing this but in a slightly different way. They are selling their own fashion line but they are also ‘mixing and matching’ all sorts of items that would go well with their line. Essentially, this allows brands and customers to make and buy all sorts of outfits from one ecommerce website. The road to increasing your items list isn’t as long as you would think it is.

 

Bare-faced honesty and collaboration

Before you try different angles, just consider emailing a fashion brand that you want to work with. It’s very common for brands that specialize in winter to work together. At the bottom of every item page, there are clickable links to all the other items the model is wearing. Coming from this sort of angle, it makes sense to just email the brands you like, present this idea of collaboration and see how far you can get.

Going for a meeting

If all goes well with your email or phone conversation, you will be called in to pitch to the sales assistant and his or her team. They are in charge of ‘new partnerships’ which is basically, finding all kinds of brands, entrepreneurs, modeling agencies, and suppliers to work with. To shock and wow them during your pitch, you need to go hell for leather in your presentation.

It should consist of all the relevant figures. What kind of visitor numbers do you achieve on your ecommerce website? What kind of follower numbers and interaction do you get on social media? What are your sales figures? What is the best thing that people like about your range? Coupled with all this kind of information needs to be a digital visual conjuring of what it would be like to see people walking down the street wearing both of your brands. You can do real-world modeling photos to illustrate this but hiring a professional photoshop image editor would be better.

Handling the traffic

The brands you’re working with will want to know if you can handle the sales that might come from collaborating with you. They will be a little hesitant if you don’t have the bandwidth and space for your ecommerce website to extract as many sales as possible if you were to be chosen. RED PALM OIL & COCOA BUTTER RINSE OUT OR LEAVE IN CONDITIONER

This conditioner works great as a rinse-out or leave-in. It is fantastic for curly, coily and shrinkage-prone hair. My 4C coily hair shrinks a whole lot, which is really annoying. So this conditioner will be put to good use. I am loving it so much already. The blend of Cocoa Butter and Palm Oil is amazing because it is rich in antioxidants. The Flaxseed Oil helps combat shrinkage, maximising the length of the hair. This SheaMoisture hair conditioner also enhances my curls in a beautiful way.

This detangling shampoo is the real deal. My 4C hair is prone to tangling so having a shampoo to deal with that is great. This shampoo is great for detangling the hair, leaving it clean, shiny and tangle free. It is now one of my favourite hair shampoos. The combination of the ingredients are just too good.

This Reshaping Shine Butter with Flaxseed Oil is great for softening and reshaping hair styles for the curly/coily hair. It is lightweight and moisturising. It is also very easy to use to create various hair styles.

 

PROS
  1. The range is quite affordable. I will be linking to the Amazon pages for those interested in buying.
  2. The packaging is quite attractive. The bright colour was the first thing that caught my eye.
  3. I love the ingredients in all the products. They are great for my 4C hair.
  4. The products leave my hair clean, soft, shiny and tangle free.
  5. I love the fact that it has an anti-shrinkage formulae. My hair shrinks after every wash, so being able to retain the length is important to me.
  6. The products smell good.
  7. I love the fact that the SheaMoisture products are Sulfate free.
  8. The range is great for the following hair types – 3A, 4A, 3B, 4B, 3C, 4C.
