Style Icon – Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner is all over the news with her new reality TV show – Life of Kylie. I have seen a few seconds of a clip of the show, and it looks good. I am no longer a huge fan of reality TV shows, especially those of the Kardashian/Jenner family. Which is why I am not watching Life of Kylie, but I am sure millions of Kylie’s fans are watching.

Kylie Jenner has grown up before our very eyes, and her style has evolved in the last few years. This young Style Icon keeps making a fashion statement every time she steps out. And guess what? She knows it!

“I never thought I was normal, never tried to be normal” – Kylie Jenner.

Kylie Jenner is famous for experimenting with her facial and body features (which I don’t admire), but she is also fashion risk taker, and I like that about her. She is not afraid to play with her look, and the best part of it is that she nails it overtime.

If I were asked to describe her personal style in 3 words, it would be – trendy, provocative, stylish. When it comes to fashion and style, Kylie Jenner slays!

Kylie Jenner seems to be taking fashion and beauty lessons from her big sister – Kim Kardashian. The good thing is that those lessons are working for her. She actually looks like a mini version of Kim now with all the changes she is making.

Apart from this beauty’s stylish fashion sense, I also admire her working ethics. Some days ago, I came across the book – How to be an Overnight Success by Maria Hatzistefanis, and Kylie Jenner’s attention to her brand and her hard-working nature was mentioned repeatedly in the book. It is good to see Kylie doing well outside the Keeping up with the Kardashians reality show. As the youngest of the sisters, I am happy to see she has her business head on. Whatever she touches, turns to gold!

  1. I’m older so the Kylie Jenner craze has passed by me a bit, but I know she has a huge following. I would be Kim’s age. I think it’s scary the beauty things she does – like the sucky out lips! and how young women copy it. But we’re always going to follow our idols I suppose. I think she is beautiful, i just fear where the beauty industry is taking people. Still, when I was younger it was all boob jobs – these days it’s lip jobs. Always drastic changes I guess!

  2. I am no fan of the mainstream reality tv. Never have been, never will be, never watched any of it. I do like the productive real tv though. Meaning programs like DIY SOS, Hotel Inspector and so on. There is a point to those shows. Reality 5v makes me cringe with embarrassment for them. I do t understand why people want to put themselves in the situation they do for there 5 minutes of fame.

You can’t fail to know whom the reality “soap” tv “stars” are through magazines/social media and so on. I like her style and the fact she takes risks interests me. The rest ends there

  3. I have not watched Kylie’s show yet but plan to when I get a chance. I am happy that she is doing well and working hard but she does have a head start with a huge media profile compared to say any other young person from an unkown family trying to achieve the same things in business. I wish her and her family well.

  4. Like Kara I’m way too old to understand the appeal of the whole celeb for celeb’s sake thing. However, my daughter talks about Kylie so I’m aware of her, and I do think her fashion sense is very cool.

  5. I haven’t followed her or her family much but I’ve always liked Khloe 🙂 If you look at it from a business perspective they have definitely done well.

  6. Kylie rocks, she goes a lil over the top sometimes but in grl she gets the best out of her, love her casual looks more than the fancy ones, but that is prob my personal style perspective.
