ASOS Top Shopping Tips

*Collaborative post.

ASOS (AsSeenOnScreen) are one of the leading worldwide online fashion retailers and target the 20+ market. We have compiled some of our top tips when it comes to shopping on ASOS to make your life as easy as possible.

Know Your Style

ASOS is a full of different styles, so before you go in, know what it is you are looking for otherwise you could get lost and be trying to navigate your way round the site for hours. ASOS is home to over 80,000 different products from a whole host of different brands.

Just make a note of different styles, and the specifics you are looking for. If you are wanting “black ripped men’s skinny jeans” then try that in the search bar, it’s likely to bring up the results you want straight away. You can use the tool bar to sort the range you are wanting, or to sort the different styles they offer.

Use Klarna Wisely

Klarna is one of the best things about shopping at ASOS. If you don’t know what it is, essentially it is a service used by ASOS and other brands to allow you to have 30 days to pay for the product your purchase. So, if you’re struggling towards the end of payday but really need that new dress, Klarna to the rescue.

You have to remember however to live within your means. If you know you’ve got a busy month next month, then maybe those £50 boots aren’t the best idea. It may feel like free clothes, but eventually you have to pay! If you’re struggling to understand how Klarna can benefit you, then you can get in touch with ASOS customer services team.

Sort by Size

There’s nothing worse than finding that perfect dress, and they’ve run out of your size. You can use the sort tool so that the results only show what is actually in stock in your size, to save yourself from the heartbreak.

The great thing with ASOS is they stock a whole variation of sizes, with a tall section and a plus-size section available if needed. It’s always a good idea to order a couple of different sizes to try on, as you can always send the wrong size back free of charge. You have a month to make sure you aren’t charged by Klarna.

Stick to your Budget

Not everyone can afford a new £100 pair of trainers, so make sure you know your budget before you go in. Maybe switch the range from low to high, starting with the cheaper items and working your way up. There really is some gold dust in the cheaper items, and it often brings up the sale items.

Don’t rule something out just because it’s cheaper than the budget you’ve set, you can either use it for an accessory or save it for next time!

They are some of our top ASOS shopping tips, if you take these on board before heading to the ASOSD website you are sure to find the outfit of your dreams.

  1. I haven’t been on in a while and prefer buying my clothes in store and trying them at home immediately. I have to try shoes in-store cos my size 10 feet may actually fit into a size 11 or a size 9. Lol.

  2. This is the first time I heard about ASOS. Goodness, I must be living under a rock or something. Anyway, I will take your advice before I go browsing. And yes, I can assure you, I will stick to my budget.

  5. Never heard about Asos, since I am living in a different country, but this sounds really great. I will definitely check this out.

  6. These tips are great for online shopping in general. After checking out ASOS, the clothing may be too young for my style but I can see myself buying gifts for some family members for sure! Thanks for the advice!
