I am a sucker for perfumes which is why my fragrance collection is forever growing. There is just something about smelling nice that does it for me. Give me a good perfume and I would love you forever! My fascination with fragrances has been since I was a young girl. I remember sneaking off to spray my mother’s perfumes before heading out back in the day. So it comes as no surprise that my kiddies, especially my daughter have a thing for a good fragrance.

Apart from being interested in perfumes, I have also always been curious about the creation of them. So when I got the golden opportunity to create my very own His and Hers Bespoke Fragrances by The Perfume Studio, I knew I had to take it.

The blends contain the highest quality perfume ingredients, and they are designed to help you blend a perfume 100% unique to you. The Perfume Studio have been making bespoke fragrance for over a decade, so they definitely know what they are doing.

The Exotic Collection by The Perfume Studio contains all I need to create a bespoke perfume. It includes 6 carefully selected exclusive perfume blends. This Exotic Collection was love at first sight for me. The floral packaging appealed to me. I also like how luxurious the package looked. It is definitely a collection worth trying.

• Fruity Amber: Key notes: amber, cinnamon, geranium.
• Exotic Floral: Key notes: jasmine, violet, sandalwood.

I have created my very own signature 30ml perfume thanks to the unique blends. Mixing the blends was quite easy. I just followed the instructions included and my perfume was ready. The scent is simply out of this world! And I still have blends left over to create another bottle!

I really like the packaging as well. It looks super sleek, and it would make a terrific gift! The hubby really likes it.

There are some brands worth raving about, which is why I like to review products. So I can shout from the rooftops about them. Noble Isle is a brand worth raving about. I have used a few of their amazing products, and I am completely sold. All their products I have tried smell so good. Honestly, this brand has the best smelling skincare products out there. I will be sharing my thoughts on some of their shower gels in this product review post.

These shower gels are from the men’s collection. I have always loved male fragrances for a weird reason. The scents usually appeal to me. Which is why I am using these.

Avon is another brand I have recently discovered this year. Prior to try the brand, I have heard a lot of good things about their products. So I was eager to try some out for myself. I am currently using a few of their skincare products, one of them being this body lotion.

Noble and Isle Whisky & Water Bath & Shower Gel £20

This Whisky & Water Bath & Shower Gel is simply the best. It smells luxurious – aromatic, woody and spicy, blended with proteins from the natural barley extract.

Heart notes: Jasmine, Orange Blossom
Base notes: Tonka Bean, Amber

  1. I adore the fragrance. It smells so good. And it is very long lasting too!

Noble Isle Fireside Bath & Shower Gel £20

This Fireside Bath & Shower Gel by Noble Isle is another amazing bath and shower gel. It has a woody, oriental blend that gently warms the skin, creating a sensual, warming bathing experience.

Heart notes: Black Pepper, Ginger
Base notes: Oakmoss, Vanilla

I really like these bath and shower gel products by Noble Isle. They do the work and they smell divine. The price tag may look heavy, but I believe they are worth every penny. Amazing products like these can’t come cheap. I am looking forward to trying more products from the brand.

 

 

Avon Care Cocoa Butter Body Lotion £2.50

This Avon Care Cocoa Butter Body Lotion is great for dry skin and extra dry skin. It contains Cocoa Butter and Vitamin E.

  4. This body lotion is great for anyone dealing with dry skin.

  6. This body lotion leaves the skin looking healthy and nourished.
  7. It is quickly absorbed into the skin.

I think the Avon Care Cocoa Butter Body Lotion is great value for money.

Beauty Muse – Millie Mackintosh

I have admired the reality star – Millie Mackintosh right from her early days in Made in Chelsea (MIC). It was one of my favourite reality shows back in day, and I have admired Millie Mackintosh since I spotted her in first season. She was one of the prettiest cast members. And I thought her skin was simply flawless. I still think her skin is flawless. She is definitely extra blessed in the beauty department, which is why I believe she is a Beauty Muse.

Fast forward to 2018, Mackintosh has now left the reality show and marriage to Professor Green behind. The 28-year-old beauty is now a business owner with a clothing line, jewellery and eyelashes collections. She is now well-known in the fashion, beauty, and fitness industry as an icon.

I came across an interview Millie had with Get the Gloss sometime ago and I found some bits very interesting. Here is an excerpt from the interview.

 

What does great skincare mean to you?

Eye masks are great for tired puffy eyes and I also like to sleep with a hydrating mask on overnight to rescue skin from dehydration.

 

I have never tried an eye mask before. That is now on my beauty shopping list. I would like to try a hydrating mask overnight too on those when my skin needs some extra TLC. I will be shopping that too!

 

What makes you feel good from the inside out? Are there any supplements that you take?

I always use Vitamin C for my immune system. Magnesium is great for muscle recovery and calming nerves. Acidophilus is really good for digestion and 5-HTP is great for energy, particularly if you’re jet lagged. 

 

Vitamin C is so good. I always make sure I have Vitamin C chewable tablets in the house. They do wonders to my overall health.
