It is the Easter weekend, and we are having a very relaxing break. We don’t have any massive plans because we just got back from our 2 week break in Essex and London some days ago. I should write a post about our holiday in the South of England. We had the opportunity to visit many cool places, and the kiddies had a blast. The posts on our trip will be up sometime next week hopefully. For now it is all about Easter. What plans do you have for the Easter break?

It is our first weekend back since our holiday so we have a bit to get done and some good old rest. Rest is always good, and I plan to be getting a lot of that this Easter weekend. The weather has been amazing here in Cheshire. It looks like we will be skipping spring again this year. I remember it being this warm last April and it carried on until September. Let’s see if it happens again this year.

For this outfit post, I am taking it back to the roots. I am wearing an African Printed Bomber Jacket made in Nigeria. I really like this piece. The material is really colourful and pretty. I also like the design a lot. The embroidery design finishes off the look really well. It is a very stylish piece, great for the season. The fashion designer – Alala by Aken, did a great job here. I have another piece from this creative Nigerian Fashion Designer, and I will be showing that off in the next few days. So keep reading.

Now back to this gorgeous piece, I found this piece very easy to style. A pair of black jeans, sunglasses and trainers completed the look. This is definitely one look I know I will be recreating a lot this spring/summer season. What do you think of it?

Happy Easter Everyone! Let’s remember the reason for the season.

OOTD: Spring Fashion

Hey we have another outfit post at last! Thank goodness! My posting schedule has been all over the place these last few days, thanks to my laptop going crazy, struggling to keep up with me, and other life stuff. I am hoping to get back on track next week so please hang in there with me.

I took these pictures some days ago while holidaying in Essex. The weather was beautiful, and I had fun rocking some of my spring pieces.

I am really loving the spring weather at the moment. The weather is cool, the sun is usually out and there has been little or no rain. Spring fashion is also looking up, I am loving the new pieces in the stores. There are so many amazing designs, I wish I could have them all! I am also looking forward to summer fashion. Time to show off a bit more skin eh? How are you finding the spring weather?

Everything I have on is an oldie but a goldie. I found the outfit easy to style, the pieces fell into places easily, I didn’t have to over think any part of it. That is the beauty of a capsule wardrobe. I know I have written a few times about having a capsule wardrobe, and the benefits, but it is so underrated in the fashion industry, I think a lot more needs to be said about how beneficial a capsule wardrobe really is. The fashion industry seems to be focused more on buying more, rather than buying what you need to create your signature style capsule wardrobe.

What do you think of this spring look? Are you a fan of a capsule wardrobe? Please sound off in the comments section below, let’s talk.

Thanks for reading, and have a fabulous weekend!
