It is the Easter weekend, and we are having a very relaxing break. We don’t have any massive plans because we just got back from our 2 week break in Essex and London some days ago. I should write a post about our holiday in the South of England. We had the opportunity to visit many cool places, and the kiddies had a blast. The posts on our trip will be up sometime next week hopefully. For now it is all about Easter. What plans do you have for the Easter break?

It is our first weekend back since our holiday so we have a bit to get done and some good old rest. Rest is always good, and I plan to be getting a lot of that this Easter weekend. The weather has been amazing here in Cheshire. It looks like we will be skipping spring again this year. I remember it being this warm last April and it carried on until September. Let’s see if it happens again this year.

Alala by Aken

For this outfit post, I am taking it back to the roots. I am wearing an African Printed Bomber Jacket made in Nigeria. I really like this piece. The material is really colourful and pretty. I also like the design a lot. The embroidery design finishes off the look really well. It is a very stylish piece, great for the season. The fashion designer – Alala by Aken, did a great job here. I have another piece from this creative Nigerian Fashion Designer, and I will be showing that off in the next few days. So keep reading.

Now back to this gorgeous piece, I found this piece very easy to style. A pair of black jeans, sunglasses and trainers completed the look. This is definitely one look I know I will be recreating a lot this spring/summer season. What do you think of it?

Happy Easter Everyone! Let’s remember the reason for the season.

The Style Icon – Banky W

I love this Style Icon feature because I discover men and women from all over the world with great style. I have my eye on Bankole Wellington aka Banky W this week. For those of you who do not know, Banky W is a Nigerian entertainer and he is the Style Icon of the week.

I love his style. He goes for well tailored pieces, you hardly see him without a hat, and he is the king of accessorizing. He knows how to pair his pieces and accesories to create a stylish look. He is the Truth.

Put On A Scarf

A scarf is a fantastic accessory regardless of the weather. It has the power to completely transform a look from simple to chic. A scarf can change a T-shirt from plain to stylish. Put one on.

Get A Good Bra

The right bra will provide the right support and confidence under those unforgiving places. I am a fan of Victoria’s Secret bras. They are the Truth.

Leopard Print

Leopard pints are timeless, racy, stylish, chic and so glamorous. Make leopard prints a staple in your wardrobe this spring.

Jazz Up Your Style

Try stylish jackets, blazers, coloured shoes and bags to jazz up your look this spring. Some colour will do you good.
