Amazing Series I am watching this month

It took me a minute to decide on the title for this blog post. I initially thought of using “What I am watching on TV this month” but I am not really watching the TV. I do Amazon Prime, Netflix, and YouTube, and I have recently started watching a very interesting series on an App, but regular TV is not something I watch.

Moving on, here are some cool series I am watching this month:

The Chosen

I am currently watching The Chosen series on The Chosen App. It is an amazing series all about the life of Jesus Christ and his teachings. The series is completely free to watch once you download the App.

You can also watch the series on YouTube if you don’t mind the ads. There are two seasons; we are still watching the first season and I am already so into it.

The Wheel of Time

This is another amazing series I just finished watching some days ago. It is based on the book series by Robert Jordan and it is all about five young men and women with magical powers that can defeat a ‘dark one’ and save the world.

If you are into fantasy, adventure, drama, and action, you would love The Wheel of Time. The full first season is available to watch on Amazon Prime.

The Handmaid’s Tale

This is another Amazon Prime series I have recently finished. We binged watch all four seasons within a few weeks because they were that good.

The Handmaid’s Tale is all about June, a fertile woman in Gilead, living (against her will) with a commander and his wife as a concubine, in a country suffering from infertility due to sexually transmitted diseases and environmental pollution. It is definitely worth watching if you are into stories like this.

What are you watching on the TV?

What I am watching on Netflix

I am not much of a TV person but sometimes I just like to watch some of my favourite shows. Thankfully, Netflix has really kept us busy this summer. There are loads to watch on there and my watch list keeps growing and growing. With my busy lifestyle,  I wonder when I will get the time to watch them all. If you are wondering what to watch on Netflix this summer, this post may inspire you.

What I am watching on Netflix

Here are some of the series I have been busy watching on Netflix lately –

Ancient Aliens

I recently discovered Ancient Aliens on Netflix and I am so into it. There is a new season (season 3) coming on Netflix. I am currently watching season 2 and it has been eye-opening. If you are into documentaries, sci-fi, history, aliens, AI, and the likes, you would enjoy Ancient Aliens. It kept thinking and rethinking so many ‘facts’.

Dark

Dark is another series I have been busy watching on Netflix. It is a German Sci-fi thriller and it is very interesting. We are currently watching season 3. If you are into sci-fi series that makes you think outside of the box, you would love Dark. However, the storyline is deep and you have to pay full attention to understand what is happening. Dark is nothing like your regular series. It is about the apocalypse, missing children, lies, deceit, parallel lives, past lives, future lives, and more.

Dark Desire

If you are after a lighter sort of storyline, Dark Desire is a good one to watch. We finished watching this some weeks ago and it is an interesting series on Netflix. Dark Desire is a Mexican thriller drama after infidelity, lies, and lust. It is a good series to watch. I really enjoyed watching it and I really won’t mind watching it all again.

Greenleaf

We have finished the new season of Greenleaf and it was all I thought it would be and more. I love how the new season started and ended. It looks like Greenleaf has now come to an end. I won’t leave any spoilers but it is worth watching for sure if you haven’t binged watched it all already.

What are you watching on Netflix? Have you seen any of these? What are your thoughts? Please sound off in the comments section below, let’s chat.

Thanks for reading. Have a great weekend.

Lockdown Blues and Netflix

Happy Friday guys! If you are in England, it is bank holiday today. The weather has been dead warm and sunny. Our streets are filled with people celebrating the bank holiday weekend but still social distancing, which is good. I am not really a social person, so I am indoors as usual but it is cool to see people trying to have a great time in their own ways. I hope you all are keeping safe wherever you are. It is getting harder and harder to blog these days because I am really not in the mood to write and when I am in the mood to write, it is tricky to decide on what to write about with all the chaos and confusion going on around the world. However, I will still be writing as often as I can and I will continue to carry on as normal. The lockdown blues has no place here.

Write a book image

In other news, Netflix has been fun. There are so many shows on there now, we are never out of what to watch. If you are struggling to find something new and. fresh to watch, here are some cool ideas for you –

Fauda

The new season of Fauda is back and we have binged watched it already! I love the series. It always leaves me at the edge of my seat and I really like the main guys as well. Fauda is definitely one to watch.

Money Heist

We recently finished all the parts of Money Heist and we loved every bit of it. I found the series very entertaining. I am missing it already and can’t wait for the new part to be uploaded. Hopefully that won’t be too long now.

Orange is the New Black

Orange is the New Black is one of my favourite shows but for some reason we are only watching the season from last year this week. I really don’t know how that happened. But I am glad we finally got to it on our Netflix list. The season is funny and engaging as always.

Caliphate

My sister recommended this series and I am glad she did. It was so good. We really enjoyed it. I was pleasantly surprised to like it as much as I did. If you are after a cool series to watch, you should watch Caliphate.

Have you seen any on this list? What are your thoughts? What are you watching on Netflix? How are you dealing with the lockdown blues?
