Product Review: SkinChemists Coldtox Activ+ Professional Facial Treatment

I received this Coldtox Activ+ Professional Facial Treatment by SkinChemists some weeks ago and I was super excited to try it out. This brand is quite popular with the celebrities, The Duchess of Cornwall, Tulisa Contostavlos, Rosie Fortescue, Amy Childs, Jourdan Dunn, all love it so you can imagine how exciting it was for me to review this product. I love home based beauty products I can use by myself, I don’t have the luxury of time to head off to a spa (although I would love to) for a facial, so having a product to try out from the comfort of my home felt so good.

This product is a professional quality rejuvenation treatment, one of its kind available on the consumer market to use at home. It comes in a pack containing 5 ampoules, which I used for 5 consecutive days.

Here is what SkinChemists had to say about this Coldtox Activ+ Professional Facial Treatment:

Here are my thoughts:

PROS

  • It comes in a nice package and the ampoules are quite easy to snap open.
  • There is more than enough in each ampoule, to apply generously on the face and neck.
  • It works! After the 5 day treatment, my skin looked and felt really smooth.
  • For a facial treatment that works, the price is quite reasonable at £79.95.

CONS

  • None.

I recommend this product to anyone needing a home based professional facial treatment. I can’t fault this product as it does the job perfectly. My skin is glowing.

A Gift From The Royal Mint

The Royal Mint

Hello everyone. I hope the week has been good to you. I had an amazing bank holiday weekend; I attended a wedding on Saturday; a very good friend of mine got hooked to her childhood sweetheart and it was a lovely ceremony. We had an amazing time, there was a lot to eat and drink, the music was good, the crowd was in a dancing mood and the decor was heavenly. Not to forget her very beautiful ivory wedding dress. I am so happy for the new couple and I wish them many happy years together.

I didn’t get to take any pictures of my outfit because we were running late and it was raining cats and dogs all through the day, hello Autumn.  Thankfully we had the wedding in a lovely hall in Essex so the rain didn’t spoil the day too much. I wore a lovely Debut black and white floral dress, the indoor pictures I took don’t do it justice so I will be taking some new pictures at some point purely to show it off on here, so watch this space.

On the bright side, I did receive this Britannia 2015 Uncirculated £2 coin from The Royal Mint, and this gift and the wedding party were the highlights of my bank holiday weekend.

This modern-day, classic, solid £2 coin is one full ounce of 999 fine silver, carrying Philip Nathan’s signature and it comes in an elegant, beautiful pack. It weighs 31.21 grams and it is such a rare gem. For those who don’t know, a silver token symbolises good luck so they are great gifts to give a friend or family member getting married – coins have long played a traditional role in wedding ceremonies, to mark the arrival of a new baby or to keep for yourself to treasure.

This was my wedding gift to the new couple. I love the design of the coin, and the fact that it is quite rare, only 9,999 other £2 coins around so they may be sitting on a small fortune in a couple of years time, who knows right?

Product Review: Geluxury Moisture Replenishing Leopard Slippers

I was recently sent this Geluxury Moisture Replenishing Leopard Slippers by Simply Feet some weeks ago to review. My feet is usually OK, I don’t suffer much from cracked heels or damaged cuticles but I couldn’t turn down a golden opportunity to pamper my feet. I love pampering myself at home, so I am usually on the lookout for products I could use at home by myself.

How To Use

Here are my thoughts on this product:

PROS

  1. No mess or preparation required. All I needed to do was to put it on. I applied a mosituriser on my feet after having a shower, before wearing it for a more intensive treatment.
  2. This slippers made my feet smooth and soft in a couple of days so it works!
  3. After wearing it for about 15 minutes, it starts to feel nice and warm, I could feel the moisturisers and oils release and start to work.
  4. I love the leopard print design, so chic. It also comes in a ‘cuddle cow’ print design

CONS

  1. It felt kind of weird the first time I wore it. It wasn’t what I was expecting. I expected a regular indoor, comfortable slippers but this feels nothing like that. It has a gel like lining that feels like rubber when worn initially. I guess it has to feel like this to do the job.
  2. I choose a medium size as I am a UK 6 and the medium size is meant for UK 5-6.5 but this was a little small for me, only if that is how it is meant to be in order to do the job?

Overall, I recommend the Geluxury Moisture Replenishing Slippers, it does all it claims to do in a matter of days. It will repair, replenish and restore your feet, leaving it feeling and looking smooth and soft.
