OOTD: A Digital Nomad

Long time no outfit post right? Yes I know. I kind of lost my outfit post mojo some weeks ago but I think I have found it now. I have been so busy in the last couple of weeks, so outfit posts have been the last thing on my mind (sorry fashionistas) but I found style inspiration from somewhere a few days ago and shot some outfit photos. So brace yourselves, I think I am back in the game!

This outfit post is centred around this stunning brown KNOMO bag. I came across this Audley Slim Leather Bag by Knomo some days ago and I was blown away by the amount of space in it and how light weight it was (0.88kg). Most similar bags with a lot of compartments tend to weigh a lot more than this so it was love at first sight as soon as I carried it.

In this bag, I can conveniently carry my laptop, iPad, Kindle, phones, notepad, pens, wallet and other bits easily. It has so much space but in a slim compact design which is brilliant. I can see myself using this chic bag a lot. It oozes sophistication and understated style. It is so stylish and smart – the bag of the future. And great for a digital nomad like me. I can take all I need for work away with me in just this bag.

The coat I have on is an Oldie but a true Goldie. I have had it for a few years now and it still looks as good as new. That is why I rather cough out good money and buy quality than spend a few quid on a piece that wouldn’t even last a season. I can still see myself wearing this stunning winter coat many winters to come. Except I give it out of course.

I got the other items I have on about a year ago and they are all still going strong.

Sparkle and Shine

What is a festive season without a bit of sparkle and shine? It is not Christmas without a bit of bling bling right? Well I believe so, and that is why I like to make sure my sparkling jewellery for the festive celebrations is in place. I will be wearing a new pair of sterling silver earrings this season; say hello to Silver Sale.

Silver Sale is a jewellery company specialising in sterling silver jewellery. The company sources, designs and curates contemporary jewellery collections that are high quality yet much more affordable than their direct competitors. Silver Sale promise to sell their jewellery for less than other jewellers of their standard, and I think that is the best thing I have heard about a company doing this season.

I had the option to select a set of Silver Sale jewellery. It took me awhile to decide on 1 (I wish I could have them all!) because there are so many beautiful designs on the website. But I finally settled for this Sterling Silver Double Twists Earrings and I am glad I did. They are a beauty to behold.

The earrings are dressy but yet laid back. I can wear this to almost every occasion and I like that about it. Silver Sale keep their promises, and have this on sale for £30, the RRP is £39, so there is a 23% savings here.

These stunning Sterling Silver Double Twist Earrings use a simple contemporary design to create maximum impact and it looks so beautiful. I particularly like the 2 gentle hoops which hang gracefully. I have nothing similar to this in my jewellery box, so I am thrilled I have these now.

These would make an affordable Christmas present or just a special gift to a jewellery loving female. I am so in love with my new earrings, can you tell?

OOTD: Something Blue

Blue is one of my favourite colours. I really like the midnight blue shade as well as navy blue. I think they are pretty colours, so I always look out for them when shopping. I was lucky enough to receive this beautiful blue dress some days ago. I was so eager to style it. Luckily I had complementary pieces already thanks to my capsule wardrobe. Styling this dress was as easy as A B C.

Apart from the dress, everything else is an “Oldie but a Goldie” and has appeared on Fashion and Style Police previously. The blue jacket is one of my favourite jackets. It is quite old, I got it a couple of seasons ago but it still looks amazing. The shoes and sunnies I got some weeks ago, and I have had the clutch bag for a bit now.

 

I don’t shop as often as I used to anymore, but when I do shop, I go for quality and I try to fill out the gaps in my wardrobe. For example, I noticed I had a massive gap in the underwear department recently, and I have had that on my mind for a bit but kept forgetting to check for deals. So I remembered over the weekend and went all out on Victoria’s Secret website. The bras were half price, so I was super excited because I needed to buy a couple. That is the kind of shopping I do now; filling in the wardrobe gaps. But I do spoil myself from time to time.
