Happy Sunday folks. I am really excited about this week’s Fashion Diva. I found her blog via Twitter, and I think she has the coolest style ever. I mean, I can’t believe she has been blogging since 2012, and I only discovered her blog some days ago. There is something fresh about her, she stands out from the rest, and she is such a beauty. Say hello to Charlotte from London.

For her first look, Charlotte is wearing a yellow lace dress by H&M, and a Michael Kors purse. I love the yellow dress a lot. Yellow is such a beautiful colour on her. This look is everything, I love everything she has on a lot!

For her next look, Charlotte is wearing a Zara dungarees and rocking a white Zara backpack. I am loving the socks and sandals look going on here. It is so chic.

This is my favourite look of Charlotte. She has on a Pull & Bear sleeveless navy dress, and a H&M white top and black shoes. The navy dress is so stylish, the overall look is a great autumn/winter outfit. I would love to have these pieces in my wardrobe.

For this look, fashion diva Charlotte is rocking a 70s dress by H&M, and shoes by Asos. This dress is giving me life right now. Stunning piece.

For her final look, Charlotte is wearing a white t-shirt, body chain and flared jeans by H&M, and hat by Primark. I can see myself rocking this outfit. It is so effortlessly chic, and so my style, love it. That completes the look.

Balmain X H&M Collection Craziness

So I didn’t get a Balmain x H&M piece, and to be honest I couldn’t be bothered to even try that much. It was impossible for myself or anyone I knew to get on the site all through yesterday, the site crashed as soon as the collection went live at 8.00am, and now I have discovered most pieces are sold out already, and now selling on eBay and I am like, what?

I also read online that many people camped outside the H&M stores in London overnight and I can’t understand why anyone would do that, except it is a business decison and you plan to sell whatever you get online. I have stayed outside a Next store few hours before 9:00am on a Boxing Day and that is the craziest shopping thing I have ever done. It was also many moons ago, when I was single and free, I can’t imagine doing that now.

I need to understand why everyone is so crazy about the Balmain x H&M collection? The craze this time is even more than the Alexander Wang x H&M collection that happened some years ago, and I just don’t get it.

I saw a video on Youtube some days ago and it was madness, the rush to grab clothes off the racks, they were not even checking for sizes and all, they were just grabbing. Most of these grabbers are not die-hard fashion fans, because most of these pieces have ended up on eBay for over £200 or more and that is a FACT. I find this so very annoying, when people who want to wear the pieces cannot get them, and people who just want to make money off the brand do get them, but I guess H&M/Balmain don’t care as long as they are smiling all the way to the bank. It is a sad time for the ‘real’ fashion lovers.

Sleep Well Shop Well Event

Last week Friday, I attended my first blogging event ever and it was fun. This Manchester event was organised by Premier Inn and Propellernet, and hosted by Megan from Pages by Megan, but before I go any further, I want you to take this yummy right in. It was sooooooooo delicious.

So last week Friday, I fought my way through the rush hour traffic in a cabbie and got to Premier Inn on Dale Street Manchester for around 7pm. Immediately I stepped into the hotel, I knew it was going to be a fun event. I was blown away by how beautiful and organised the reception was. A nice young man helped me with the check in, and off I went to the 11th floor to drop my bags and get ready for the evening.

I met the rest of the girls at the bar in the hotel and off we went to San Carlo’s Fumo for dinner and some chit-chat. The food and wine were amazing, I ate all sorts of tasty dishes, if food could kill, I would be dead by now. Like seriously, the food was amazing and the waiters just kept bringing more food, whenever we thought we were done, they just appeared with some more food. It was an amazing dinner, the DJ was killing it with great tracks, I couldn’t ask for more really. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food and a great time in Manchester

Once we were done at the restaurant, I was happy to return to my Premier Inn room, and enjoy my very comfy bed.

The next day, I was up bright and early to get some breakfast, and off we went to the famous Arndale Shopping Centre for some shopping sponsored by the lovely people at Propellernet. I got a jumper from H&M, some stylish Christmassy pyjamas from Next, and pairs of leggings from Select. Boring I know, but I had gaps in my wardrobe to fill, so there you go.

The “Sleep Well Shop Well” event was amazing, I had a great time in Manchester, and I recommend anyone looking to shop or wine and dine in Manchester, to stay in a Premier Inn, you are sure to find one around .
