OOTD: Blue is the New Black

I have always loved blue, especially the navy/midnight blue shade. I think it is the closest shade to black, a more fancy black if you like. Blue is the new black!

It is the season of dresses, and I am wearing a Navy Blue Chiffon Embellished Short Dress by Quiz Clothing. This stunning blue dress is one of Quiz Clothing’s Occasion Dresses and I think it is a true beauty.

I collaborated with Quiz Clothing to showcase the brand’s new bridal range. I was paired with a blogger – Sarah from Let Them Be Small, and she choose the lovely dress, shoes, clutch and bracelet for me. I love them all, and I think Sarah has a great taste.

I really like this dazzling dress. It is perfect for the party season, a great piece to wear to a wedding or even dinner date. The detailing on the dress is amazing. You can tell a lot of thought was put into designing it. The diamante embellished waist is simply stunning. This dress is definitely a party essential.

The sparkly accessories finished off the look beautifully. I love the Silver Diamante Mesh Courts Shoes. It looked amazing paired with the dress, and was super comfy too!

I really like the sparkly jewellery and accessories I had on here. Wearing the shoes was like stepping into glamour. The mesh outer, embellished with diamantes, these courts and high shimmer heel, helped create the perfect footwear for this look.

The Silver Glitter Envelope Clutch Bag is also a great accessory for this look and any party outfit. I love the glitter fabric with silver detailing, there is something so glam about it. And the Silver Diamanté Cube Clip Bracelet with Diamantes arranged in a chain style bracelet, looks really great. Apart from it being a beauty, I found it easy to put it on and take off.

  2. Absolutely stunning dress, suits you really well and love the accessories you chose to put with it

  3. Well, apparently I need to buy more blue because I didn’t get the message. At our last family outing, Church, my entire family was wearing blue but me. My husband looked smoking hot and I was wearing purple!

  4. That colour is absolutely beautiful on you. The dress has such a lovely shape too. What a really cool idea to have someone else choose an outfit for you. I think she made an excellent choice!

  5. Such a gorgeous look for an occasion! The dress is so pretty, very feminine and that colour blue is one of my favourites. The accessories are pretty fab too.

  6. You look so beautiful in blue! Sarah has great taste, she picked out the perfect dress for you. The embellished detail is gorgeous and takes this dress to the next level. And you accessories are so chic, especially your scarf. Such a great look.

  7. Wow this is beautiful. I love this dress, it is gorgeous. Blue is a fantastic colour. I love the silver shoes and bag – absolutely stunning.

  8. Blue is my favourite colour, so obviously it is the main colour palette of my wardrobe. I think blue is just as versatile as black, white and grey because it can be paired with most other colours (depending on the shades, of course!). PS – your dress is stunning! 🙂

  10. I love navy too. It is the new black, however, it is less harsh than black. Navy is a versatile colour, in other words it’s neutral.

I’ve also blogged about the colour navy and what I can say is that we have the same taste.

    Please give me a view.

    Much appreciated.
