How to style gladiator sandals

Like them or not, gladiator sandals are here to stay, which is great for me because I love them. They are easy to style and always look good in the summer. I love them and I have quite a few in my wardrobe. I can clearly see why gladiator sandals have stayed longer on trend than other others, and it is because they are stylish and very comfortable. Comfort and style go hand in hand, so when a design ticks both boxes, it is usually a hit in the fashion world. The last thing most of us need is to be stuck wearing uncomfortable shoes or sandals. Walking in those would be hellish!

When it comes to my top 5 summer footwear, gladiator sandals are high on the list and I am not surprised at all. What is there not to love?

Here are some tips on how to style gladiator sandals easy this season –

Style with minis to create an illusion of longer legs

Styling gladiator sandals with minis creates an illusion of longer legs, and that is the look you want. I love styling mine with mini skirts and dresses, especially when the sandals are dead pretty. Styling your gladiator sandals with longer hemlines would cut your height into half!

Go for colourful pairs

Styling your black outfit with colourful gladiator sandals is an easy way to add some colour to your look this summer.  I love having a few colourful pairs in my wardrobe for days when I need to brighten up an outfit. It is an easy way to add some summer to your look.

Opt for a heeled pair for the office

When it comes to styling gladiator sandals for the office (if your office is outside your home), opt for a heeled pair for a more structured look. Anything else would look to casual/laid back, but if that is the general workwear look in your office, then you can get away with any styles.

Try before you buy

Like with most footwear, it is safe to try before you buy your gladiator sandals. It is safer to try on to be sure the style fits your feet right. Ensure you walk around with them on to have a good feel of them before deciding. If your toes are slipping out, go for a different pair.

Prep your feet

Prepping your feet is really important. Make sure your feet is groomed and ready before you were your sandals. Go for styles that create an illusion of a smaller feet the a larger one.
