Kids Fashion – The Kiddies go to Disco

Yay another kids fashion post, and this time it has a disco feel! The first year of primary school is almost over, and we are happily looking forward to the summer holidays. The kiddies had a blast at reception. They love school so much. I have never met kids that love school as much as my twins. It is so amazing how much they have grown in the first of big school. I am so proud of their achievements and they are even more proud of how far they have come.

The whole school thingy is still new to me. For example, I was shocked to discover that children get end of year reports at the end of the school year. I was under the impression that since they don’t get graded, there won’t be any school reports. So the school reports came as a pleasant surprise. They both did so very well, we couldn’t be more proud.

The Kiddies go to Disco

Their school has a disco last Christmas but the twins didn’t get to attend. So when the summer disco came, my daughter made sure they attended. The excitement before the disco was so much, that we had to take photos before heading off to remember the special day of their first disco!  I shared some other photos on my Instagram page as well.

My daughter loves the dress she has on. She is more of a dress/skirt girl, very girly. You won’t catch playing dress up wearing anything else. She loved he overall look, and had a blast at the disco. My son on the other hand doesn’t really cate what he wears, as long as I think it looks good, he is happy to wear it. It was warm day, so the easiest pieces for him wear were a t-shirt and shorts.

They both came back with many stories of who they danced with, music they played, what they ate, and more. It was definitely a fun evening for them.

These pictures show off their charming personalities perfectly. My duchess is very pictures and fashion. She loves posing and thinking of ways to style a look/piece differently. My little man on the other hand can’t be bothered with fashion, style or photography. He likes taking pictures every now and again, but likes cheeky pictures best. They behave alike and yet so different at the same time.

Review – Aveeno Daily Moisturising Body Wash

I fell in love with the Aveeno brand some years ago.  Aveeno Daily Moisturising Body Lotion was the first product I used by the brand and I was sold on it. I wrote a review about how good the body lotion last year. So catch up on that Aveeno review blog post if you missed it. The kiddies also reviewed the Aveeno Baby Range last year, and it is a lovely range for their skin. We still use these Aveeno skincare products as they are amazing for our skin. Which is why I decided to try the Aveeno Daily Moisturising Body Wash some weeks ago, and I am glad I did. It is a fab moisturising body wash and it does the work pretty good. I can’t see myself using any other type of body wash now. This by far the best I have tried in ages.

Years ago, I used to think Aveeno skincare products were not for our type of skin, but I was so wrong. The products are so amazing for our skin. They leave our skin clean, nourished and moisturised. I am glad I discovered the brand and gave it a go.
