This Leapfrog Learning School is a great way to introduce kids to the idea of school! It is great to get this toy when your little one is about to go into pre school as they can play with it at home beforehand and get into the idea of learning in a structured environment. The toy teaches school routines, listening comprehension and pretend play. It is great for children 2 years and over.

My kids (especially my daughter) really enjoy playing with this lovely toy as you can see in the video below. She could easily do this for hours if possible. I love the fact that it encourages imaginative play. This is something my kids are lacking now thanks to the gadget life we are all living. It also encourages fine motor skills with doors that open and close, a spinning carousel, accelerating slide.

Use Foundation on your Lids

If you are going to apply eyeshadows, put on some foundation on your lids before brushing some translucent powder on it. This would help create the right base for your eyeshadow and the rest of your eye makeup.

Make Use of Cotton Buds to Correct Mistakes

It is so easy to get your look wrong when applying eye makeup. Wiping it all off to start again when you make a mistake is never a good idea. Instead, dip a cotton bud into eye makeup remover and gently wipe the area that need wiping. It approach works better and saves you and your eyes the hassle of wiping the entire makeup off.

Tidy up your Eyebrows

The eyebrows are the pillars of the face and must be handled with care. One wrong pluck and you may have ruined your entire face for months. But if you get it right, you can get away with little or no eye makeup if you want.

Be careful when you pluck your eyebrows. Think tidy up rather than rebuilding. Pay attention to the hairs below the brow and across the bridge of the nose.

Threading is the Best

Threading is the best way to shape your eyebrows. The practice originated in Asia and has become very popular all over the world. I prefer threading to waxing. It is a lot more painful than waxing or plucking. So if you have low pain threshold, you may want to tidy your eyebrows using a different method.
