A Winter Break with Campbells Caravans

*Collaborative post.

It is the most wonderful time of the year. The holiday season is almost here and almost everyone I know is in the Christmas mood. It is difficult not to get into the festive mood with all the beautiful Christmas decorations around. We love going away during the winter break. It is always good to get away for a mini vacation when the kiddies finish with school. The break allows me relax, reflect and get ready for the new year. If you are thinking of going away this winter and are thinking of ideas for a mini winter break in a caravan, you should check out North West’s Campbell Caravans.

I love the flexibility of a caravan holiday. You can just park up and go create memories any site you want. It is always a good idea to explore Europe in the winter as the temperatures vary from country to country. Some countries are not as cold as it is here in the UK. Algarve, Portugal has temperatures range from 12°C to 24°C, while Costa Del Sol, Spain Temperatures range from 15°C to 25°C. These make them great destinations for a break this season if you are after some winter sun. France and Italy can be great locations for a colder break, if that is the sort of holiday you are after. The flexibility of caravan holidays makes almost every European destination possible. There are loads of overseas sites open all year and available to pre-book with great rates, which is why this season is a great time to book a break. Have you been on a winter break in a caravan before?

This Granada Navy Long Socks is a beauty. I love the colours and the design. It looks like it is going to be dead warm and comfy, which is just what I need with the winter coming. This would make an excellent gift this Christmas.

Cosy up this winter with a mug of tea, good book, open fire, and these handmade Nepalese wool socks. Sitting somewhere between a sock and a slipper, they’re chunky enough to keep freezing toes warm on even the coldest of winter nights. These traditionally knitted socks have been hand crafted from 100% natural wool in repeating rows of quirky colours. The ankle end is ribbed to create a snuggly but stretchy opening. One size fits all! They’ve been designed to embrace your feet like a hug — a perfect symbol of how these slipper socks help to support traditional Nepalese artisans.
