How to Look and Feel Stylish when Pregnant

*Collaborative post.

If you are pregnant then you may feel as though nothing fits you anymore. You may also feel as though you just don’t feel good in anything you need as well. If you want to do something to help yourself to feel more positive, then there are a few things that you can do to look and feel better, so you can make positive changes that go on to benefit you for a very long time.

The Key to Comfort

One classic combination that you can try would be for you to wear a crop top and a skirt. This is a very classic combination and it also lets you be comfortable. A wrap skirt comes in very handy here and you would be surprised at what a difference it can make to the way that you look and feel when pregnant. At the end of the day, when styling your outfits, it helps to take note that comfort is key. When you put it on at home, you may feel as though it is a little uncomfortable at first but as you sit with it and as you begin to wear it more often you will soon find that it becomes more natural for you.

Keep Footwear Simple

If you have swollen feet then you may find it is a good idea for you to keep your footwear nice and simple. If you want to keep yourself nice and comfortable then you need to try and make sure that you go for footwear that is flat and comfortable. You also need to make sure that you are not making things more difficult than they are. If you are concerned about what to pair with your footwear then you can also look into things like maternity pants online. When you do, you will have different options that you can pair with a lot of different shoes. If you do this then you will soon find that it is easier for you to get the result you want overall.

Anticipate

What fits you right now might not fit you very well in a month or two. If you want to do something about this then make sure that you anticipate things like this and buy things that are still going to work for both of you. If you can do this then you will be able to do what works for you while adding a nice casual finish to all of our outfits.

You might also want to try and get some pregnancy pieces on rotation as this is a good way for you to stop yourself from regretting any purchases that might not work for you as much as you thought they might have done.  Of course, while you’re at it, take note of how you can change your style and what makes you feel good. If you can do this then you will soon see how easy it is for you to continue to make good choices that work for you.

5 Top Tips for Dry Hair

Caring for your dry hair can be tricky and painful to style, but luckily, there are many top tips for dry hair care. If you are like me and have dry hair, you may find these 5 tips for dry hair post handy.

Less washing, more mositurising

Depending on your hair type, you may get away with washing your hair less often. I wash every couple of days and it works amazingly well for my hair type. I focus on moisturising to keep my scalp healthy and shiny. If you are battling with dry hair, try washing your hair less, maybe try going for a few more extra days without washing, and see how your hair feels. Also, increasing your moisturising does help massively. I moisturise my hair every day, sometimes twice a day and it is so beneficial.

Use Essential Oils

Many of you would know I am a huge fan of essential oils. I find them so useful to have and I use the oils in many different ways. My favourite essential oils for hair care are Rosemary, Tea Tree, and Peppermint. I add a few drops to a carrier oil, usually Coconut Oil or Black Seed Oil, and I massage it into my hair and scalp, and it makes a massive difference in how my hair feels and looks. If you are looking for new products to add to your hair care routine, do consider adding some Essential Oils.

Take Supplements

Taking good supplements daily is another way of improving your hair and scalp. There are so many options to choose from, depending on your age and requirements, so do have a look and go for one that would also help your hair. If you are taking good vitamins that would benefit your hair and scalp, you should start to notice some improvements within a few weeks.

Opt for Great Hair Products

When it comes to hair products, like with most things, always go for quality over quantity. There’s no need to use a bunch of cheap hair products that do not improve your hair or scalp. It is a letter better to use fewer, high-end, quality hair products that would do the work.  I always read reviews and product descriptions to get an idea of what the product is like before committing to a purchase, and I usually opt for the smallest-sized bottle available just to be on the safe side.

Avoid Heat Styling and Air Drying

Now this tip is so important. If you have dry hair, you would want to avoid heat styling and air drying. Wrapping your hair after a wash is more beneficial for the health of your hair, than air drying. Heat styling can do more damage than good in the long run, so it is best avoided if your hair is really dry.

Dry hair can be a pain to care for but it is possible to give your hair proper TLC and leave it looking fab regardless of how dry it may be.

Spring is on its way, and a new season is about to begin. When it comes to all things fashion and style, that means it is almost time for lighter layers and floral pieces. I am seriously looking forward to the spring season. It feels like this winter has been on for too long, and I am itching for milder weather. The autumn and winter fashion season was fun, but a new era has begun! For those who are looking forward to spring fashion, here are 4 key spring fashion trends to explore this season.

Chic Tweed is Back

The chic tweed trend is back and it is looking great all over the high street (Mango and H&M, to name a few) and with luxury brands like Gucci and Chanel. I am a fan of this old-school trend. My tweed blazer from Next is one of my favourite blazers in my wardrobe, and I am super excited this look is making a comeback. It is such a classic trend and so easy to layer and style up.

Mint-green – The Colour of Spring

Mint-green is also coming back in grand style this spring and I am here for it. It is such a beautiful colour and very easy to mix and match. This lovely shade is back in style and you would easily spot mint-green pieces and accessories all over the high street. Green is a shade that looks great on me, so I am happy to be flooded with mint-green pieces and accessories.

Powder Pink, for a softer look

If you prefer softer colours, you would be happy to hear that powder pink is also on trend this spring. This soft and feminine shade has been all over the spring catwalks, and you would easily spot the shade on the high street as well. I find powder pink very easy to wear and when I am in the mood for a softer pastel look, I find myself reaching for items in this shade.

Tank Tops are Here

For the lovers of Tank Tops, you would be glad to hear that they are back and better than ever! This trend took center stage on the catwalks and the styles and designs looked divine.

To expand on this, I have bought a few tank tops already and they are so pretty. I got mine from H&M and they are not just regular tank tops, the designs are so stylish, with a chunky chain neckline, which took the look to a whole new level. I am looking forward to styling them, and there are loads of options with various price tags for tank top lovers who want to explore this fashion trend.
