Product Review: Petit Jovial Range

Some weeks ago, I got the lovely opportunity to try out the Petit Jovial Range. It was my first hearing about the brand and I was excited to review the products. For those who have never heard of Petit Jovial, it is an organic skincare brand for the whole family. The skincare products cater for the growing bump, baby and beyond. I tried out three of their products and they are all really good.

 Body & Scalp Massage Oil, £22

This body and scalp massage oil by Petit Jovial is a gentle blend of 100% natural oils formulated with Safflower, Sesame, Jojoba and Wheatgerm Oils. The pure blend helps to soothe baby when massaged gently unto their skin. It aids digestion, eases wind, and strengthens the bonding process between baby and the primary caregiver.

It also helps ease cradle cap, and works great as a moisturising body oil for all ages. Mums can also benefit from the amazing benefits as it also works wonders on stretch marks.

Nourishing Multi-Purpose Balm for Face & Body, £25

This luxurious multi-purpose, rich balm is made with 100% natural butters – Shea Butter, Rosehip Oil, soothing Lavender and Calming Chamomile.  It is a perfect barrier for sensitive bottoms, nappy rash and dry areas. This multi-purpose balm also works amazingly well for soothing painful nipples, and nourishing dry cuticles and lips.

Nourishing Bath Oil, £23

This lightly moisturising nourishing bath oil is made with Sunflower oil, Lavender, Geranium and Clary Sage to help soothe and relax baby and the whole family. The Bath Oil nourishes and cleanses the delicate skin.

Here are my thoughts on these products –

 

PROS
  1. The products are 100% natural and vegan. They are free from parabens, SLS, artificial colours or fragrances, and other suspect chemicals
  2. I love the simple packaging. It works great.
  3. The products are quite affordable.
  4. All the products are gentle enough for babies and great for the rest of the family.
  5. I love the fact that the products are multi-tasking. It means I can get more out of them.

 

CONS

None.

 

This Petit Jovial Skincare brand is great for the whole family. I have been using the products in many different ways and they are great for us.

These days, I am paying special attention to my haircare routine and I have started noticing a massive improvement in my hair. It just confirms that good care can grow almost anything and that includes my very disobedient hair! My natural hair has not been growing as fast as I wanted. I only just realised the reason it wasn’t growing as quickly as I wanted was because I wasn’t caring for my hair the way it needed to be cared for. Nowadays, I pay special attention to any product I use on my hair and I can hardly recognise my hair now.

I was super excited to try out Untamed Hair Dryer. Prior to trying out this lovely machine for myself, I have read some amazing reviews about it so I was super keen. Untamed Hair Dryer is so different from the other hair dryers I am used to. This fantastic hair dryer doesn’t just dry your hair but it also moisturises thanks to the mini Argan Oil . It comes with a special nozzle that allows you to attach a bottle of Argan oil. This allows you multi-task by drying and nourishing your hair with the Argan oil. It is such an amazingly smart machine.

PROS
  1. The first thing I noticed was the lovely packaging and the salon length cable. It is a great length for when you need to use the hair dryer away the socket.
  2. I love the fact that it is a multi-tasking hair dryer. It is my first time using a hair dryer that also moisturises with Argan Oil.
  3. It comes with 3 nozzle – a slim nozzle, a super slim nozzle, and a nozzle for holding a bottle of Argan Oil.
  4. The hair dryer has a cold shot feature which allows you settle the cuticles with some cold air after drying. It is such a cool feature and it is great for the hair.
  5. This powerful 2000W Untamed Hair Dryer dries the hair pretty quickly. It is just what I need when I need to dry and moisturise my hair quickly.

 

CONS

None. I love everything about this wonderful hair dryer.

First Impressions

My Nutribuddy Meal Replacement Bundle arrived quickly and was packed properly. After washing the bottle, mug and scoop, I immediately tried it out. The Instructions on how to mix the shakes were simple and straightforward, which was great. I started out with the High Protein Sculpting Shake in Vanilla Flavour, and then I went on to the others. The first mixture I made, I added just plain water and it tasted good. The second time, I added some milk along with water and it tasted even better. So I know add milk to every mixture.

 

PROS
  1. Usually protein shakes don’t taste good, but this is thankfully not the case with Nutribuddy. The shakes are taste amazing. I really like the vanilla flavour.
  2. I love how nutritious the shakes are. These shakes replace meals and snacks, but don’t replace the nutrients.
  3. These shakes fill me up. I use mainly as a snack replacement and they work great.
  4. All products are 100% natural, vegan and cruelty free.
  5. The plastic bottle is 100% BPA-free, leak-proof and dishwasher safe. It makes the shakes super easy to use and it is a very durable bottle.

 

CONS

I really like this Nutribuddy Meal Replacement Bundle. The shakes taste amazing and are super nutritious. Plus they lose some weight and tone up. I am sold on the vanilla flavour but would love to try the other flavours as well.
