Product Review – Indigo Herbs Papaya Seed Oil

*Collaborative post.

Hello September! The weather has done a complete 360 in the last few days. It is now a bit chilly with the endless rain and I can smell Autumn. I love taking extra care of my skin in the autumn months to get it ready for the harsh cold weather we experience in winter. Winter can leave my skin really dry so I like to ensure I get my skin ready for that. I recently started using this Indigo Herbs Papaya Seed Oil (Cold Pressed) and I really like it. The Latin name for the oil is Carica papaya, and the oil is extracted using the cold pressing method. It is my first time of using a cold pressed oil and I am loving it.

Here are my thoughts on this Indigo Herbs Papaya Seed Oil

PROS
  1. I love the texture of the oil. It is very light and non-greasy.
  2. The packaging is compact which makes it easy to pop in a handbag or luggage to take on holiday. I also like the fact that the oil comes with an expiry date as most skincare products don’t.
  3. It brightens skin’s complexion and leaves the skin very moisturised.
  4. This oil can be used in many ways. I use it as a massage oil. I also use it in the bath sometimes. It can also be used in homemade, natural skin and hair preparations.
  5. The oil is fragrance free and easily absorbed into the skin.
  6. I like the price tag of £13.99 for a 100ml bottle. That is super affordable.
  7. It is Vegan.
  8. This oil is handcrafted in Somerset UK, so you can be rest assured it is great quality.

This oil is naturally anti-inflammatory and for external use only. It is rich in antioxidant vitamins and phytonutrients.

Overall, I really like this Indigo Herbs Papaya Seed Oil and that’s why there are no cons. I can’t fault it in anyway; it is perfect for my skin and it is super affordable. What is there not to like?  I love how it feels on my skin and I can see myself using this massage oil for a very long time. It is definitely worth trying.

Review – PoxClin Cool Mousse for Chickenpox

*Affiliate link.

I mentioned in my last parenting post that my twins had chickenpox in the last few days of the school term. It was horrible but thankfully they have recovered fully. We used a couple of products to deal with the spots and keep them comfy. One of the products we used was PoxClin Cool Mousse for Chickenpox.

The kiddies used this product multiple times a day for around 2 weeks. We ended up buying 3 packs of PoxClin Cool Mousse for Chickenpox. It is a pricey product. We found it a lot more expensive than many others products for chicken pox, but it did the work.

Product Description

PoxClin Cool Mousse has been developed to provide relief from skin irritation, itching, burning and sensitivity associated with chickenpox. It contains a unique bioactive bacterial blocker for an effective treatment to sooth the itch, to recondition the skin and to help prevent scar tissue formation. PoxClin Cool Mousse can be easily and hygienically applied to the areas of affected skin.

Check out our thoughts –

PROS
  1. I found it easy to apply on the children thanks to the great texture. The packaging is also very practical. The pump makes it so easy to use.
  2. It quickly absorbs into the skin.
  3. This product does relief the itch that comes with chickenpox.
  4. It helps the skin heal and prevents scarring.
  5. The kiddies loved the feeling of this product on their skin.
  6. There are no harsh chemicals or toxic substances in PoxClin.

CONS

None. I can’t fault this product. It was a life saver for us. The only bit I didn’t really like was the price tag. The bottle is only 100ml so we went through each bottle quickly. However, I quickly understood why it was more expensive than other products for chickenpox, after trying some others.

I recommend PoxClin to anyone who has chicken with chickenpox. This product must the ordeal a lot easier. It is a very effective product and it does all it promises to do.

I can’t fault this hair care product. It has changed my hair care routine and my hair is thanking me for it. I am going to show how much my hair has grown and how healthy it is looking in the next few days, so look out for that post. The hair transition from texturised to natural has been very long but I am glad I am starting to see great results.
