Outfit Post – Time for Spring Fashion

We were away for 2 weeks holidaying in London and Essex. The Kiddies were on holiday and we decided to make the most of the time we had. It was a fantastic holiday. We did all sorts of things and I am only just recovering from all the fun and excitement, which is why I have not been posting as often as I usually do. Entertaining 2 very busy children is a full-time job. I hardly had time to do anything else.

The holiday is over now, and the twins are back in school, so it is business as usual for me now. I took these outfit photos last week in Essex. The weather was good and I had a lovely garden to make use off. So I made the most of it. Time for some spring fashion photos.

The Cream Metallic Stripe Shirt

The cream metallic stripe shirt I have on is a new wardrobe addition. I got it some months ago but only just the chance to wear it, thanks to the warmer weather we are experiencing on and off. I like the top a lot. It is so my style. Easy to wear and style up or down. Everything else I have on is an “oldie”. I really like the pair of jeans I have. It works great with the cream metallic stripe shirt. It also fits like a glove which is just how I like my jeans.

I am excited spring is here at last. The weather is starting to warm up, and the days are now longer. I have many spring outfits styled in my head, and I can’t wait to really take off these layers and style them in real life. How is the weather at your end? Are you excited for spring fashion?

Outfit Post – Autumn Style

I started Fashion and Style Police in October 2012, and sometimes I forget I have been running this blog for 6 years now. Fashion and Style Police started purely as a fashion and style police. So there were lots of outfit posts from day 1. Back then, on most weeks, I could post as many as 3 outfit posts.

Over the years, the blog has evolved as it should and it now covers beauty, travel, my self-employed and freelance journey, blogging tips, and all bits and bobs about my life which include my dearest twins. Sometimes, I like to look back to see how far I have come.

The journey to here has been long and hard work but fun because it is what comes natural to me. I am not trying to be someone else on here. There is no fakery at all It is pure me at the finest, and it has been an amazing rollercoaster ride. This blog has opened many doors for me. It has brought me opportunities I never thought were possible and I am forever thankful for that. It took me many years of hard work and dedication to get to the position I am now. And I am not even close to where I want to be yet but I am sure I will get there because I never quit.

I wore this outfit some weeks ago and I really the Orange Wide Sleeve Pleated Blouse. The lovely people at BlackBetty sent to me sometime ago and I finally got around to wearing it. I think it is super stylish and the colour is great for the current season. Styling this piece was easy with a pair of black leggings and heels.

What do you think of this look? How are you styling your autumn outfits?

Fashion – Mid Year Outfit Review 2018

I have posted quite a few outfits this year 2018. It has been a busy year fashion blogging wise, and I hope it continues this way. I have rocked winter, spring and summer looks this year. And here are some of my favourite looks of the year so far.

Cheers to the New Year

I started the year rocking this sparkly Quiz dress. The dress is one of my favourite pieces at the moment. It is a great party piece. I love how it sparkles and hugs my body like a glove. It is so easy to fall in love with this beautiful dress. I always get lots of compliments when I have it on.

If you need stylish party pieces with an OK price tag, you need to shop at Quiz. The brand has some of the most beautiful party dresses around.

Staying Warm this Winter

This is another look I really like. The sparkly cardigan by Apricot stole the show. The Russell & Bromley shoes look so good with the outfit. I guess it is easy to see why I like this outfit. Apricot is another fashion clothing brand I really like. I highly recommend them.

What do you think of the look?

A Slice of Lemon

This lemonade look is another favourite of mine. I love the pop of colour thanks to the NEXT cardigan. . The glittery scarf by M&S is one of my favourite. I also love my Kurt Geiger denim shoes. This is one look I can clearly see myself styling again and again. It is such a girly look I think.

A Skrit for Spring

This spring look is another fashion favourite of the year. Like I have said many times, I like wearing dresses and skirts in the spring/summer months. I find them very comfortable and stylish.

This River Island skirt is so great for the current season. I love the floral design and the crotchet top from BlackBetty is super stylish too! This outfit was put together so effortlessly. I love it.

Styling A Bodycon Dress

Fashion Picture

This is my most recent outfit post and it is no surprise that is makes the list. I love this New Look Bodycon Dress a lot. I am usually not a fan of bodycon dresses at all. But this stunning dress impressed me. The Michael Kors sandals suits the dress a lot, like many other sandals would do.

What do you think of these outfits? Which is your favourite and why?
