Outfit Post – Styling Animal Print

I find animal print pieces very stylish. There are a few of them in my wardrobe and I enjoy styling them to create different looks. I wore this outfit the other day, and I decided to photograph the look for a fashion blog post. I have had the animal print blazer for years now and it still looks brand new. It is one of my spring/summer staples. This animal print blazer does not look as old as I have had it. That is what happens when you invest a bit more in quality. I love the loose relaxed fit, it is dead easy to style and very comfy to wear.

Trends come and go but the Animal print will always be in vogue in my eyes. It has been popular in the fashion industry for years and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. The animal print look is sassy and very stylish when paired up correctly. I see the trend being around forever.

I got the black trousers I have on in the sales and wore it for the first time on this day. It has a relaxed fit which I love; perfect for the spring/summer months. The black top is also a new wardrobe addition. I got it as a Christmas gift and wore it for the first time on this day too! I love both pieces, and I know I will be wearing them over and over again in different ways.

Outfit Post – Hello Autumn

Hello October! We woke up today and realised it is officially Autumn. Or Fall like my American friends call it. The heating would be coming on anytime from now, and the leaves have gone brown. I like Autumn weather. It is a beautiful season and the chill isn’t always freezing cold, which is a good thing. It also means I can start to play dress up with my scarves, jackets, trainers and boots. Which I have been looking forward to doing kind of.

Autumn fashion is all about light layers and cool colours. I am still in the process of sorting out my Autumn/Winter wardrobe, so here is probably my last summerish look for the year. Enjoy it..

The pink shirt is a new wardrobe addition. I got it some months ago in the US. I really like the design and pink colour. It is a shirt that you can just throw on with a pair of jeans and you are good to go. The quality of the shirt is also great. It is from a trusted brand so I wasn’t expecting anything less.

The metallic sneakers are also new from Italy. I am super in love with the metallic shade and the design. The sneakers are super trendy and easy to style. I think it goes well with the pieces I have on. It is also very comfy which is a plus. Life is too short to walk around in uncomfortable shoes.

I must confess, I would miss the casual summer looks. They are so easy to style and dress up. Wearing layers of clothing would have to take some time before I get used to the trend all over again. Thanks to the longest summer ever we had, I have been styling summer looks from April up until September. But it is now time for Autumn Fashion.
