4 Key Spring Fashion Trends

Spring is on its way, and a new season is about to begin. When it comes to all things fashion and style, that means it is almost time for lighter layers and floral pieces. I am seriously looking forward to the spring season. It feels like this winter has been on for too long, and I am itching for milder weather. The autumn and winter fashion season was fun, but a new era has begun! For those who are looking forward to spring fashion, here are 4 key spring fashion trends to explore this season.

Chic Tweed is Back

The chic tweed trend is back and it is looking great all over the high street (Mango and H&M, to name a few) and with luxury brands like Gucci and Chanel. I am a fan of this old-school trend. My tweed blazer from Next is one of my favourite blazers in my wardrobe, and I am super excited this look is making a comeback. It is such a classic trend and so easy to layer and style up.

Mint-green – The Colour of Spring

Mint-green is also coming back in grand style this spring and I am here for it. It is such a beautiful colour and very easy to mix and match. This lovely shade is back in style and you would easily spot mint-green pieces and accessories all over the high street. Green is a shade that looks great on me, so I am happy to be flooded with mint-green pieces and accessories.

Powder Pink, for a softer look

If you prefer softer colours, you would be happy to hear that powder pink is also on trend this spring. This soft and feminine shade has been all over the spring catwalks, and you would easily spot the shade on the high street as well. I find powder pink very easy to wear and when I am in the mood for a softer pastel look, I find myself reaching for items in this shade.

Tank Tops are Here

For the lovers of Tank Tops, you would be glad to hear that they are back and better than ever! This trend took center stage on the catwalks and the styles and designs looked divine.

To expand on this, I have bought a few tank tops already and they are so pretty. I got mine from H&M and they are not just regular tank tops, the designs are so stylish, with a chunky chain neckline, which took the look to a whole new level. I am looking forward to styling them, and there are loads of options with various price tags for tank top lovers who want to explore this fashion trend.

5 Wardrobe Tips for 2025

If you want to step up your style game this year, you may find these 5 wardrobe tips for 2025 post handy. Here are some useful fashion and style tips to remember as you embark on the journey to look and feel good, and to ensure your pieces are looking their best.

1. Declutter your wardrobe

This was one of the first things I did this year and it felt so good. I got rid of many pieces and accessories. Many of them I had fallen out of love with so it was easy to get rid of, and this process created space for me to fill with items I like. My style has evolved over the years, and it is still evolving. I struggle now with some styles and designs I used to like many years ago, and I now find myself drawn to pieces I wouldn’t have considered in the past. Decluttering your wardrobe is the first step when it comes to switching up your look.

2. Organise your wardrobe

This step is so important, there’s nothing like a well-organised wardrobe. I like being able to see all I have in my closet easily. It’s easy to forget items that are not visible. This is why, I like to keep my pieces and accessories organised, so it’s easy to find what to wear and so I don’t forget items I have. Organising by type also makes it easy to spot all I have quickly.

3. Use velvet hangers for small closets

If you have limited space, you can opt for hanging your clothes using velvet hangers as they are great for smaller wardrobes. Wooden hangers are better for hanging clothes if you have enough space, if not, velvet is the way to hang.

4. Create a capsule wardrobe

Focus on creating a capsule wardrobe instead of going for trendy items you might outgrow in a few months. A capsule wardrobe is a minimalistic way of staying stylish.

5. Skip the dryer

Skipping the dryer has always been my thing, and I think that’s why my clothes look good for longer. I always air-dry my clothes, and I highly recommend you try this tip if you currently use a dryer.

Perfume Review – Parfums de Marly Feminine Discovery Set

Hey friends! Happy New Year! Welcome to the wonderful 2025! I hope you have all had an amazing start to the year. I came across Parfums de Marly sometime ago and fell in love with the sweet-smelling brand. Their perfumes are some of the best and smell so good. This Feminine Discovery Set was my introduction to the brand. I wanted to have a feel of what their feminine fragrances smelt like and opting for the discovery set rather than a full-sized bottle straightaway made a lot of sense. Plus, the £37 you put towards buying this Feminine Discovery Set could be redeemed as a discount when buying a full-sized perfume within a limited period.

PROS
  • I love all the fragrances. They smell really good. My top four favourites are Valaya, Delina, Delina Exclusif, and Meliora.
  • My top 4 fragrances are very long-lasting. They stay on pretty much all day and a little goes a long way. You don’t have to overspray these queens at all.
  • I love how different each fragrance is, there is something unique about each perfume.
CONS
  • I didn’t fancy Cassilli and Oriana. I found them a bit too light, I tend to prefer beast mode/heavy fragrances. I liked Delina La Rosee but it wasn’t long-lasting.

Overall, I am stuck on Parfums de Marly. I have quite a few bottles already in my collection and I am looking to add some more. So keep reading, there will be lots of perfume review posts coming up.
