What I Got on Mother’s Day

The title of this post should be some of the things I got on Mother’s Day but I think – what I got on Mother’s Day sounds better.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and mothers to be reading this. Being a parent comes with so much responsibility and you never really know what you are getting into until you become a parent. It is the hardest job in the world, without a doubt. But it is also the most rewarding job ever, and I won’t trade being a mother for anything.

It has been a beautiful day. My kids woke with up with songs and presents. I felt super special. I also got a full body massage today at Macdonald Hotel, thanks to the fam. It was just what I needed. I didn’t want the massage to end. But the beauty of the massage ending was that I got to spend some time in the Relaxation Room. It felt so serene in there.

Still on the gifts I received for Mother’s Day, I was super excited to receive this Julia Hollywood Mirror in White Gloss from hollywoodmirrors.co.uk. This makeup vanity mirror with lights is definitely going to transform my dressing area. It is such an amazing beauty. It features 10 cool white led light bulbs and a chic white gloss finish. I am so in love with it.

I was also lucky enough to receive some bottles of wine from Aldi. These bottles of wine are perfect for Mother’s Day celebrations. I love all three and I am happy to say I would be popping one tonight. Can you guess which one?

Here are my top 10 Christmas gift ideas for 2013.

My mum and I went for a Luxury Paradise Escape Spa Day for 2 at the Macdonald Portal Hotel today; it is one experience I won’t forget in a hurry. We had a fantastic time. It was an hour and 45 minutes of full body massage and facial. We also had a complimentary lunch and we had access to all the hotel’s facilities including the pool and sauna. It was a lovely experience and I will recommend the Macdonald Portal Hotel Spa to anyone.
