I have always been interested in designing and creating things from scratch. Many years ago, I played around with the idea of becoming a fashion designer. That idea disappeared shortly after naturally. I realised I was not a natural when it came to sewing and designing pieces/accessories. The interest wasn’t really there either. I still remember when a good friend tried to get me into crotchet. She created many lovely little cardigans and blankets for the kiddies when they were babies, but I just wasn’t interested in those sorts of things at all. Fast forward a few years now, we are still in lockdown and there is a lot more time to do many things at home, and I know many people are playing around with baking, cooking, sewing, and a lot more at home.
