Today, I am reviewing 3 makeup products by LOLA – Colorete 009 Eyeshadow, Duo Kajal + Eyeliner, and 107 Smoothie Matte Lipstick.

107 Smoothie Matte Long Lasting Lipstick

This Smoothie velvety cream lipstick provides an immaculate matte finish and intense, enduring colour. It has a blend of polymers and emollients which provide a smooth appearance and fuller looking lips.

Here are my thoughts –

PROS

  1. I love the matte finish and the intensity of the colour.
  2. It is long-lasting, stays on and in place for hours.
  3. It moisturises my lips thanks to the Vitamin E and Jojoba Oil.

CONS

None.

Colorete 009 Eyeshadow

Matte eyeshadows are perfect for a natural everyday look or to provide a base colour for building, blending, highlighting or contouring.

Here are my thoughts –

PROS

  1. I love the smooth matte finish.
  2. I love the shade, it suits my skin tone.
  3. It is long-lasting and stays in place for hours.

Duo Kajal + Eyeliner

The LOLA Duo Kajal + Eyeliner combines two amazing eyeliners in one handy pen. At one end an intense black Kajal and in the other, a precise liquid eyeliner in marker pen form.

Here are my thoughts –

PROS

  1. I like the fact that it is 2 products in 1.
  2. It is super easy to apply.
  3. It dries very quickly and stays on for hours.
  4. It is waterproof and crease-proof.

CONS

None.

All 3 products have no cons for me. I love them and I would recommend them 100%.

Product Review: MAC Amber Eyeshadow Palette

I gave away a MAC Amber Eyeshadow Palette  to a lucky winner some weeks ago, and I have finally gotten around to trying my own palette. I love trying new makeup, and I am a huge MAC fan.

MAC – founded in 1984, in Toronto, Canada, has been one of the leaders in the beauty industry for years now. I think majority of their products are great and suit my skin, so I am always keen to try something new from the brand.

If I had an unlimited budget and a bit more space, I would buy a lot more makeup. I have quite a lot of makeup at the moment. I won’t call myself a makeup freak, but I am slowly getting there. I have over 20 lipsticks, so many eyeshadow palettes, foundations and different types makeup, that my Marks and Spencer makeup bag is struggling to contain them all.

I know my makeup is nothing close to what some beauty bloggers have (I know some bloggers with hundreds of lipsticks), but I still think I have a lot! Like I said, I wish I could have some more, but there is space for them. I would literally have to move house to accommodate any more makeup, lol. So for now, all the makeup I own have to be kept in this bag. I am in no mood to call the movers! Our current house may not be our forever home, but I hate moving, so I don’t see us moving house anytime soon. I can see us staying put for a bit.

Back to the MAC Amber Eyeshadow Palette review. Here is the product description:

Here are my thoughts on this palette –

PROS

  1. I love all nine shades. The natural shades suit my skin tone.
  2. The shades are very easy to apply and take off.
  3. The shades are long-lasting, stayed in place all day.
  4. It is a multi-tasking palette. It can take you from day-to-night effortlessly.
  5. It is easily accessible online and in various beauty stores.
  6. Some shades are shimmer, some shades are matte, so there is a shade for everyone.

CONS

  1. The palette is smaller than I expected. I expected the original MAC palette size, but this is smaller.
  2. It is quite pricey at £25 for what you get.

 

Overall, I do recommend this MAC Amber Eyeshadow palette. I think the shades are beautiful and great for a natural look.

  1. I love the beautiful bright packaging.
  2. It is quite affordable at £18 for a pack.
  3. I started noticing a healthy glow and an overall improvement in my skin tone after using this product every day for two weeks.
  4. I love the fragrance.

CONS

None.

 

Inhibitif Face Serum

PROS

  1. I used this face serum every day for about three weeks, and I started to notice a visible reduction in the appearance of my facial hair.
  2. It is great for all skin types.
  3. It reduces irritation and redness after having my laser treatment sessions.
  4. It is great for targeting ingrown hairs.
  5. It is quite affordable at £20 for a pack.

CONS

None.

 

Grow Gorgeous Hair Growth Serum

PROS

  1. I applied 20 drops every evening and my front hairs started to come back to life.
  2. This serum stopped my scalp from being dry and flaky.
  3. It was easy to apply.

CONS

  1. It could be pricey for some people at £45 for a 60ml bottle, but if applied correctly, the bottle can last up to 2 months.

 

I love all 3 products, they fulfilled all the promises and more. I recommend these products.
