Goodbyes are always hard

Today is the last day of January, and believe it or not, unlike many others, I am a bit sad to see January 2018 go. Goodbyes are always hard for me. January has been a very long month as usual. It has gone on for so long, that at some point, I thought it would never end. I am always a bit reluctant to say goodbye to January because it means the new year has started for real, and I have to get on with it.

January started off slow and quiet. It has been full of ups and downs, with the fever coming around, leaving me feeling horrible. It was my birthday some days ago, and I had a good time celebrating with the family, not letting the sickness take over my special day. I have also been very busy with blog work and my other freelance jobs. Also, I finally got the time to list some items on eBay. I got so many items to get rid of, and I am looking to give many to various charities and sell the rest on eBay this year, so wish me luck.

I am looking forward to February and all what the new month brings. It is the Valentine’s Day month of love, so expect some lovey dovey posts on Fashion and Style Police. I plan to work hard and play even harder in the month of February. Going easy on myself is one thing I am working on this year, so a lot of me time has been scheduled to get some quality TLC.

  1. I agree with Helen that January has felt long though has gone quickly. I don’t like January. I don’t rate February much either however it’s better as its nearer March so that makes it better. March lighter nights and spring makes it my time of the year. Can’t wait

  2. I’m ready for February, but I’m a bit sad January is over – I feel like it went by too quickly, and it means the year is already flying by! I am excited for warmer weather in February though!

  3. Happy birthday! I didn’t mind January too much this year although it did seem to go on a bit! Happy Feb!
