I have recently started using this Fat & the Moon Mermaid Mask and I have quite a lot to say about the skincare product. This face and hair mask is one of the products I have been trying this month. I am always interested in any skincare product that promises to improve my skin so this Fat & the Moon Mermaid Mask had my attention as soon as it landed on my doorstep. This Mermaid mask was inspired from a raw dessert that went wrong. The mask promises to tone and moisturise at the same time.

Here are my thoughts on this face mask –
PROS
- It left my face feeling smooth and soft.
- My face felt very clean after using this Mermaid Mask.
- It is quite affordable at £16.50.
- A little goes a long way. I only needed to mix 1 teaspoon of the mask with a few tablespoons of hot water and massage into your face. Leave on for at least 20 minutes.
- My face felt moisturised after using this mask.
- It is a multi tasking product. It can be used as a face and hair mask.
CONS
- It can be a bit messy when mixing and applying so ensure you do this in your bathroom/shower room.
- I am not a fan of the smell.
Overall, I like the Fat & the Moon Mermaid Mask as a face mask. I can see myself using it again and again. I am yet to try it on my hair because I currently have cornrows on but I will be trying it once I take them out. It is definitely a product worth trying if you are in need of a different type of face mask. It does all it promises to do and more.

I feel like giving that mask a try. Nothing beat a smooth skin.
I agree 😊
I’m always interested in reading about new skin care products. I have very dry skin & desperately trying to avoid wrinkles & crows feet. Love the sound of this mask
It is worth trying for sure.
Sounds like an interesting one to check out, I haven’t heard of the brand before. I don’t use many masks that involve mixing, I just find it a bit tedious, but I will definitely look into this one.

Pls do check it out. Thanks Jackie.
Lavender and honey are the main components I look for whenever I’m purchasing any face mask so yes, I’d also go for the Fat and the Moon Mermaid face mask too. I love that it is actually so affordable!
It is a good mask.
I’ve never heard of it. I do use a lot of masks but I think we have different brands here in Europe.
I am in Europe and yes we have different brands.
This sounds like an amazing face mask! I love that it makes your skin soft and smooth. Definitely going to need to check this out!
Please do. Thanks.
This face mask seems really effective. The fact that’s is organic with natural ingredients makes it a good product. I have tried mud packs/ masks with only mud and rose water made at home, but this one has added benefits of aloe and honey too!
Yes it does. Definitely worth trying.

Consistency and quality content is the way to go.
I have never tried a mask, but this one does sound lovely and I love the smell of lavender. It doesn’t sound too expensive either so I may have to check it out!
It is great. Do check it out. Thank you.
I have tried a few different mud masks before, they’re good but Mermaid Mask promises something more with Aloe Vera as one of the ingredients. Aloe Vera is well-known as a good remedy either for skin problem or hair. How often you reckon to use this mask in a month?
I plan to use this once a week.
Looks like there are more pros than cons so I might give this a try.
Please do Lauretta.
I haven’t used a mask you have to mix before, I usually go for things that are as easy as possible
I know what you mean. Mixing a mask can be hard sometimes.
Thank you for your honest review of this product. I have eczema and am constantly looking for ways to improve my skin. I typically don’t apply a product to my full face, but rather the spots that are problem areas.
You may like this mask. Give it a try.
Not one that I’m familiar with but something that sounds like it is worth a try
It is worth trying for sure.
