Over 30s skincare tips – Why we should exfoliate

The skin is supposed to naturally shed dead skin cells every 30 days, but sometimes this natural shedding process doesn’t happen as it should. Which is where exfoliating skincare products come in. Here are some of the main skincare benefits of regular skin exfoliation –

  • Brighter and youthful skin

Exfoliating your skin at least once a week would greatly improve its appearance as the process would increase blood circulation and remove dead skin. Most times, if you use an effective exfoliating skin product, your skin will look brighter and smoother immediately.

  • Fewer breakouts

If you are struggling with breakouts, you may need to exfoliate some more for smoother skin, Exfoliating the skin regularly prevents clogged pores, which leads to fewer breakouts and smoother skin.

  • Absorption of skincare products

Sometimes, the skin does not absorb the skincare products properly, or if it does, it takes a long time to sink in. One way to get around this is to exfoliate regularly as this helps the skin absorb skin products better and then the benefits of the skincare products are really visible, due to a more rejuvenated appearance.

  • Fades age spots and pigmentations

The weekly removal of dead skin cells means the appearance of faded spots and pigmentations would reduce too, and this is super important, especially for those over 30s skin.

When it comes to quality leather handbags, Gucci is one of my favourite designers to shop. This handbag is one of the new season’s designs, and it is such a beauty. I love the simplicity of the design. It has the classic Gucci look, which screams luxury and quality. The fold-over design means it would be easy to store away if you don’t have enough storage space for your bags. It also has three compartments, which is handy. We are officially in summer here in the UK, even though the weather doesn’t seem to be cooperating these days. This new season is all about bold prints, designs, and bright colours, which are great for fashion accessories. I like to grab a few stylish accessories every season, and summer is one of my favourite seasons when shopping for fashion accessories because there is more room to experiment in a way.

Also, the prints, colourful bags, scarves, cool sunglasses, and sunshine always have a way of getting me in the summer mood. If you are interested in updating your wardrobe with some stylish accessories this season, keep reading for some trendy ideas.

Silk scarves

When I think of stylish accessories, scarves are usually one of the first on my mind. I am a huge fan of silk scarves and always want to add more of them to my wardrobe. Scarves are a trusted summer accessory and have a way of finishing off a look nicely. The more detailed the scarf is, the more pretty it usually is. I like to have silk scarves in different prints, colours, and designs, to match different looks. Are you a fan of silk scarves?

Quality handbags are a great wardrobe investment. The more you spend on a handbag, the longer you have it around usually, so I like to splurge a little bit more on this fashion accessory. Investment bags are required all year round, and some of my favourite designers for handbags are Gucci, Stella McCartney, Michael Kors, Guess, and the like. Which is your favorite designer for bags?

Another great fashion accessory to splurge on for summer is sunglasses. I like to have a few pairs around ready for sunny days.
