How does fat freezing treatment work

*Collaborative post.

I have had 2 fat freezing sessions in the past. The first fat freezing treatment was on my stomach and the second was on my face. Both treatments were a few years ago. After childbirth, I started dealing with some stubborn tummy fat and I was desperate to get rid of it. I also wanted like a mini face contour, which is why I had the second treatment shortly after having the first.

I got 2 opportunities to go into a beauty clinic for both treatments, and I grabbed the offers with both hands. It was a fantastic experience. I found both treatments non invasive and I was very pleased with the results. The first fat freezing treatment was about 45 minutes and I had no issues at all during or after the treatment. The second fat freezing treatment was about an hour and my experience was even better than the first. My skin tone was glowing and I was really happy with the results.

What is fat freezing?

For those who have never heard of this fat freezing treatment, it is a non invasive treatment which removes stubborn fat by safely freezing it away. It is now really popular thanks to the fact that it is non invasive, painless and really effective. This treatment does not require an anaesthetic, and you can go about with the rest of your day as normal after the treatment, which is makes it even better. I was pleased to hear needles won’t be involved and that the results will be natural looking, which was what I wanted.

My first fat freezing treatment

For my first treatment, it started off with a gel pad on the target area, and then the area was exposed to cold temperature. The therapist began to massaged the left and right sides of my stomach with ice cold air. It was freezing and my stomach went numb a few minutes into the treatment, but the numbness disappeared shortly after the treatment.

I noticed a difference immediately after the treatment. My stomach looked flatter and the difference was even more noticeable a few weeks after the treatment. I know I am definitely going to have the fat freezing treatment again. It is so worth it.

My second fat freezing treatment

For my second treatment, it started off with a face cleanse and a massage on my neck, shoulders and scalp. Then my face was sprayed with a cold air for about 6 minutes, and then massaged to stimulate blood flow. Finally, a moisturiser was applied to seal in the beauty goodness. My skin was glowing once the treatment was over. It is one beauty treatment I know I am going to have again. My facial skin thanked me for it and the whole experience was so amazing.

I definitely recommend the fat freezing treatment. You can have the treatment on your arms, buttocks, stomach, chin, upper arms, bra fat, back and thighs. The results are amazing and they are permanent; the fat cells do not grow back in the treated area and the best part is that the treatment isn’t painful.

What do you think of this treatment? Have you had it done before?

Use Vitamin C skincare products

Vitamin C skincare products are great for lightening acne scars and hyperpigmentation. It also stops new dark spots from appearing. I find Vitamin C serums great to use. They have helped clear my acne scars and I still implement Vitamin C products into my daily skincare routine. My current favourite is this Viola Skin Anti-Ageing Vitamin C Serum.

Exfoliate your skin weekly

Exfoliating your skin every week is a great way to improve your facial skin and get rid of acne scars if any. Getting rid of dead skin cell with a facial brush is a quick and effective way of exfoliating today. I use my exfoliating facial brush once a week and it leaves my skin looking smooth and supple. Exfoliating the skin, scar will reveal the smoother skin beneath. If you are battling with acne, you should try this Magnitone London First Step Vibra Sonic Compact Face Cleansing Brush below.

Laser Treatment

If you are battling with serious acne scars, laser acne scar removal treatment may be the best solution for you. There are now ways to reduce the appearance of acne scars thanks to the advancement in technology. I would recommend this for extreme cases only. If you are dealing with mild acne scars, you can easily get rid of them with the right skincare routine.

Use Sunscreen

This is a no brainer but still worth a mention. You should apply sunscreen to protect your skin; use a minimum of SPF 30. This will also help you get rid of the acne scars gradually and protect your skin from more damage.

Stop picking the face

No matter how tempting it is to pick your face when you have acne, try not to! Picking your face will only lead to more acne scars that may take years to go away.

Cleanse the face

Cleansing your face is important to ensure your skin stays clean and healthy. Sleeping with makeup on is the last thing your skin needs, especially when you are trying to get rid of acne scars. It is also important to use the right cleanser and the right amount of cleanser – the size of a water bottle lid.

There are many home remedies for getting rid of acne scars like the use of Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil, Lemon Juice, Baking Soda, and more. These are based on many different experiences and worth trying if the tried and tested methods don’t work for you.

Six Natural Nail Tips for Beautiful Nails

I love showing off my natural nails in the spring/summer months. It is a season that puts me in the mood for a good manicure and pedicure. That could be because we get to show off extra skin this season, and our nails just have to look the part. I am not really a fan of artificial nails anymore. Sometimes I have them on but very rarely. Which is why I like to pay special attention to my natural nails. I am for all things natural now; so natural hair, nails and the works.

If you are interested in caring for your nails this season, you may find these natural nail tips very useful.

Keep your nails short

Naturally long nails may look good from a distance but they are hellish to have on. Long nails are a hindrance to quality life. They make simple task like opening drawers and dealing which is why I always make sure my nails are short. Long nails only look good for a bit before they become weak and start to break.

Massage your natural nails with oil

Massaging your natural nails with oil helps your nails stay healthy. Coconut oil or olive oil works well in moisturising your natural nails, so try to do this as frequently as possible. Investing in a good hand cream also helps the nails look good and stay moisturised.

File your nails every week

You should try to file your natural nails once a week with a fine emery board to keep the edges from splitting. Using a coarse board or a steel file will be too harsh for your nails.

Exfoliate your hands

Apart from massaging your nails with oil, you should also exfoliate your hands. You can use household remedies like salt and vaseline, and lemon juice mixed with vegetable oil to get rid of dirts an stains.

Moisturise overnight

The fastest way to moisturise your hands and nails is to apply a good nourishing moisturiser all over the hands. Then slip your moisturised hands into a pair of disposable gloves and leave overnight.

Use natural products

Like most products, the more natural they are the better. So it makes sense to try to use as many natural products as possible. Your hands will thank you for it.
