If you are new to blogging and wondering how to get started, here are 3 SEO strategies for your blog that you may find very useful –

Keywords research

This is something I started doing in the early days and I still do it. Carrying out a mini research on the keywords you are interested in for your content helps boost the rankings of your blog posts, which would eventually improve the overall blog rankings. Conducting a keyword research is super straightforward, you can use SEO tools like Googles Keyword Planner or Ahrefs.

Use short and catchy titles

The shorter a title, the better the SEO, so resist the urge to make your blog post title complicated. Just make sure the title includes the relevant keywords and it relates to the article itself. You should also include relevant sub headings in the body of the article to help boost the ranking of the blog post, and catch the attention of your readers.

Add relevant links

Another quick way to boost your blog’s SEO is to add relevant external and internal links. Every blog post should contain at least 1 external link and 1 internal link. The magic is in the quality of links, so aim for internal links that are similar to the main theme of the blog post you are writing, and opt for external links that are related to theme, but not too closely related,  so they don’t compete for the same rankings.
