Cara Delevingne Covers British Vogue September 2016

Cara Delevingne On Vogue Image

The stylish Cara Delevingne is on the cover of British Vogue September 2016 issue and she looks good. I am loving the cover a lot. I like the fact that it is quite colourful with the blue jacket and red background. I love her pose, hair and makeup, but then it is Cara Delevinge so I am surprised. She nails everything she touches!

This issues promises to be a good read. The 23-year-old model gushes about her new-found love in her interview:

“I’m completely in love… Before, I didn’t know what love was – real love,” she told us of her relationship with American singer-songwriter Annie Clark (known by her stage name St Vincent). “I didn’t understand the depth of it. I always used to think it was you against the world. Now I know the meaning of life is love. Whether that’s for yourself or for the world or your partner.”

She sounds happy so I am happy for her. Love is a beautiful thing and everyone deserves to experience it.

Cara Delevingne also talks about her transition into Hollywood, and about the gender pay gap:

“I’m still learning. I act for love. I give it my all,” she revealed of her more recent pursuit. “I would probably still do it even if I wasn’t paid at all. But in terms of equal pay I need to be paid the same as the guy who has equal billing with me. Otherwise I won’t do it. Because if you accept less, you’re just letting everyone else down and continuing the cycle.”

I agree with her 100%. I find it bizarre that we still have this gender pay issue today. I mean it is 2016. I am not going to bore you guys with my feminist views, but we really should not have to deal with the same issues previous generations had to deal with.

Apart from Cara’s interview, I would also love to read ‘The big 7 trends you’ll want to wear’ and ‘Vogue’s guide to go-getting style’. Both articles sound like a good read.

Will you be reading this issue? What do you think of the cover?

Rita Ora Covers Cosmopolitan UK September 2016 Issue

rita-ora-cosmo-cover-2016-1470133695

The beautiful Rita Ora is on the cover of Cosmopolitan UK September 2016 issue, and she is looking flawless on it! I love this cover a lot. The pink background works with her outfit and makeup. I like everything about this cover. I won’t say I am a huge fan of Rita Ora, but I do like a few of her songs, especially the one with Chris Brown – Body on Me, and I think she is a pretty girl. I can see myself grabbing a copy of this issue this month because it is £1, I find the cover girl interesting and I will be on the move quite a lot in the next couple of weeks.

In this issue, Rita Ora opens up her about her anxiety struggles:

“I have someone I speak to once a week. People suffer it in different ways, but for me it’s more about thinking about the long-term goal.”

“I’m a very ‘in the moment’-type person, so if I have to do something there and then, I’ll be fine. But if I think about it, that’s when anxious thoughts start going in.”

I like the fact that she is openly talking about her anxiety struggles. Many people suffer in silence, so it is refreshing to see a celebrity speaking out about her anxiety issues and how she deals with it.

Apart from being eager to read Rita’s full interview, I am also very interested in the other features. Show Time – Beauty editors unzip their makeup bags sounds major, I bet every beauty blogger would be interested in reading that article. The hooked on selfies – the rise of the female narcissists, sounds like an interesting read too.

What are your thoughts on this September issue? Are you a fan or Rita Ora?

Sound off in the comment section please.

Thanks for reading xo

Zoe Saldana Covers Glamour UK August 2016

Glamour-Aug16-cover-b_640x960

The beautiful and talented Zoe Saldana, my fellow twin mama, is on the cover of Glamour Magazine UK August 2016 issue. I almost didn’t recognise her on the cover. She looks very different, in a good way. I guess it is that motherhood glow everyone talks about.

I really like this Glamour Magazine cover. I love Zoe’s hair and makeup. Her pose and outfit are right up my street as well. It is a different kind of cover, but different in a good way.

I am a Glamour fan normally so I know for a fact that I will be buying and reading this issue. I want to catch up on Zoe. I have not seen or heard much from her since she became a mum. I can’t believe she will be turning 40, she can pass for a 20-year-old easily. I hope I look half as good as she does when I turn 40.

In her interview with Glamour, Zoe Saldana talks motherhood, marriage, her new movie – Star Trek Beyond  and about Idris Elba being the next James Bond:

“I think Idris should have been Bond a long time ago, and if the people behind Bond are not capable of evolving, then I really hope that the whole franchise passes on to new, fresher, younger and more intelligent hands: people who are able to make better decisions for James Bond.”

I would love to see Idris Elba as the next James Bond. I mean who wouldn’t? I think he will make an excellent Bond but lets wait and see.

The other features on the cover also look interesting, especially the 397 Holiday Style + Beauty Tips To Love. That article sounds promising.

I can’t wait to get my hands on this issue.

Do you have one already? What do you think of Idris Elba as the next James Bond? Are you a fan of Zoe Saldana?
