Product Review: 3D Crest Glamorous Whitestrips

I have been using the 3D Crest Glamorous Whitestrips for over 2 weeks now, and I can see a clear difference in the colour of my teeth. I have previously mentioned how I would love to have my teeth whitened again. I had a teeth whitening procedure done a few years ago, and it completely changed my smile for the better. So I was thinking of having a top-up procedure done, but not had the opportunity to do that, so I was very happy to have the opportunity to try out the 3D Crest Glamorous Whitestrips.

 

 

I must confess, I was a bit sceptical at first. I have used so many dental products with promises of a whiter smile only for them to perform way below expectation. In most cases, I noticed no difference at all, so I although I was happy to try out these whitening strips, I did have my hopes up.

The 3D Crest Glamorous Whitestrips formally known as Crest Advanced Vivid, is designed to whiten natural teeth 25X better than a leading teeth whitening toothpaste.

 

 

The pack also included a pack of Oral B Glide 3D White Whitening + Scope Flavour Floss.

 

 

Here are my thoughts –

 

PROS

  1. I love the compact packaging. It is so easy to pop the Whitestrips satchets and Floss pack in a bag.
  2. The Whitestrips are very easy to use. My pack came with 28 strips for 14 treatments(1 upper and 1 lower). I use the strips once a day for 30 minutes. They are easy to put on and take off.
  3. The Whitestrips work. I started to notice a difference after 4 treatments, and my teeth is now a lot whiter since I completed the 14 treatment.
  4. The Whitestrips have an advanced seal technology that provides a strong firm grip.
  5. The Whitestrips are very comfortable. I can go about my day as normal when I have them on. I can talk and even drink water with them on.
  6. The Oral B Glide 3D White Whitening + Scope Flavour Floss performs amazingly well. It gets rid of any food stuck in between the teeth and it leaves a fresh breath.

 

 

CONS

  1. I experienced a bit of teeth sensitivity while using the strips, which is perfectly normal when using a teeth whitening product. It disappeared after a few days.

 

 

I would recommend the 3D Crest Glamorous Whitestrips to anyone in need of a brighter smile. It is a very effective and convenient way of whitening your teeth. A trial will convince you!

Natural Hair Transition Update & Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie Review

For those who are do not know, I have been transitioning back to my natural hair for some months now, and my hair is almost at the texture I need it to be. My hair is now completely natural, with a few dead textured ends here and there, which I trim off regularly. I didn’t go for the whole ‘big chop’ because I wasn’t comfortable cutting my hair that low, and I am happy I doing it this way, although my transition is taking longer because of it.

I love this Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie. It is the best curl enhancing product I have ever used! I recommend to anyone in need of a great curl enhancing product; this might be the one you need!

Product Review – Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb Bloom Eau De Toilette

I had the opportunity to try out the new Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb Bloom Eau de Toilette, and I was blown away by the lovely fragrance.

I am a huge fan of Viktor&Rolf perfumes; I have used all of them, and reviewed a few on Fashion and Style Police, so I was super excited when this Flowerbomb Bloom bottle dropped on my doorstep. This new fragrance is known as the ‘Bloom of Spring’ is defined as fruity floriental, and I think the timing of the launch couldn’t be anymore perfect!

Flowerbomb Bloom was developed from our desire to create an airy fragrance with a burst of fresh flowers, one that was synonymous with a bloom of spring – Viktor&Rolf.

The new eau de toilette continues the iconic addiction of the Flowerbomb floral bouquet, adding in a breath of fresh air with a burst of fresh spring flowers to bring a fresh, sparkling and sensuous tone.

Here are my thoughts on this fragrance:

PROS

  1. It has a fresh, sparkling, juicy fragrance, which smells divine, and slightly lighter than the original Flowerbomb, so great for the spring/summer months.
  2. The fragrance is quite long-lasting for an Eau de Toilette. It stayed on for hours.
  3. I love the glamorous bottle. It is the shape of a diamond grenade, and features the trademark – wax Viktor&Rolf seal. It looks so pretty on my dressing table.
  4. The fragrance is quite memorable, like the other Viktor&Rolf fragrances I have tried.
  5. It can be purchased in most beauty shops, so it is easily accessible.

CONS

None.

I can’t fault this Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb Bloom Eau De Toilette. It is a great spring fragrance to try this season, and I recommend to anyone in need of a new airy scent. This is definitely the scent of the season.It is an explosion of fruits and flowers!
