Product Review: RITUALS Interior Perfume

I am forever buying fragrances because I love my home smelling great. RITUALS is a brand I fell in love with many years ago while visiting Amsterdam. I walked into a RITUALS shop and there were so many sweet-smelling products. Since then, I have had a soft spot for RITUALS products and I love trying them. I needed a new home fragrance and decided to grab this RITUALS Interior Perfume some weeks ago. We already have some RITUALS diffusers in our home and they smell divine. So going for this home fragrance was a natural choice. I opted for the sweet orange and cedarwood fragrance.

Why I Love RITUALS

One of the main reasons why I love RITUALS is because they don’t test on animals. I am gradually only shopping from brands that don’t test on animals. Once I am done with many products, I won’t be buying them again. Cruelty-free brands are the only ones I will be shopping from going forward.

PROS
  1. A little of this spray goes a long way. A pump is all you need to fragrance a room.
  2. The packaging is great! It comes with a pump which is brilliant! I will definitely be reusing the bottle once the spray is finished.
  3. I adore the fragrance. It smells amazing.
  4. I like the fact that I can easily grab a bottle from Amazon £22.20. The link to purchase is below.

CONS
  1. The fragrance is lovely but the cedarwood is quite strong, so a little goes a long way. You may find the fragrance overpowering if you spray too much.

Overall, I like this RITUALS home fragrance. I will be exploring other fragrances in their collection. If you like the sound of this home fragrance, grab it via the Amazon link below.

Product Review: RITUALS Blossom Water Cherry Blossom

Light bed & body mist Image

I got this RITUALS Blossom Water Cherry Blossom bed and body mist while holidaying in Amsterdam some weeks ago. While exploring the busy city, my eyes fell on a RITUALS store, and before I knew it, I was walking out with this mist in a bag.

This bed and body mist is my first RITUAL product ever, and this is also the first time I am using a bed and body mist. I have used it for weeks now, and I am very impressed.

Here is what RITUALS has to say about this Blossom Water Cherry Blossom mist:

With the relaxing scent of young Cherry Blossom gently covers your skin with a fine dew

Gives the skin a refreshing feeling
The cherry blossom, ‘Sakura’, lends its name to a princess from long, long ago who was called Kono- Hane-Sakuya-Hime (blossoming-tree-blossom-princess). The legend tells that she was given this long name after she had fallen from heaven and landed right on top of a cherry tree. Since then cherry blossom has been regarded by the Japanese as a symbol of happiness, love and the annual start of nature’s reawakening.

Weekend in Amsterdam

Fashion and Style Police Blog Image

Fashion and Style Police is primarily a fashion and beauty blog, but with a bit of lifestyle thrown in for good measure. So you will be hearing about  a few things going on in my life sometimes. Last weekend, myself & the rest of the crew were in Amsterdam! It was a short but exciting trip. It was our first time visiting the beautiful city of Amsterdam, and I learnt quite a lot about their culture in our short trip.

The city of Amsterdam reminded me of Dusseldorf in Germany. I visited Dusseldorf some years ago, and the similrities in both cities is difficult to miss. However, I found Amsterdm more fast pace. Everyone seemed to be in a hurry on their bicycles. There were loads of them. The main city centre was always packed. It was impossible to get on a tram most times because they were usually filled. We found it easier to get into cabs, they were reasonably priced and the traffic was not a lot. I guess because everyone seems to be riding a bicycle without a helmet. Even the children riding along with their parents on the bikes didn’t have helmets on. I found it so dangerous and scary. Although bicycles have designated lanes, they move soooo fast, and ride really reckless with many of the riders texting and riding. I guess that explains why I saw 2 bike accidents happen in front of me on the same day. Thankfully no one was badly injured but the accidents confirmed my worries.

We did a lot of sight seeing. The weather was lovely, if not too lovely. Got on a boat cruise that took us round the city. I even had the luxury of spoiling myself at a Rituals Cosmetics store. I got a few sweet smelling things. I will be reviewing some of them soon. Overall I had a good time and I am looking forward to my next holiday already. I have a few planned for the next couple of months, and I really cannot wait!

If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen some pictures from the trip but if you missed them, go have a look.

Thanks for reading and have a fab day.
