The stunning Melanie Brown, popularly known as Mel B, is the first style icon of the year. I have been a huge fan of this gorgeous women for decades now. Her voice is amazing and her style has evolved from scary to chic. I think she is a great style icon with a fabulous sense of fashion. What do you think?

Style Icon – Mel B

This television personality, singer, actress and author has played a huge role in British fashion. She is the definition of a true fashionista! I love how much she has grown in all areas of her life. Back in her young days, I was not a fan of her personal style. It was way too over the top for me with the bright colours, crazy hair, bold prints and loads of unnecessary accessories. However, when I look at her now, I admired almost every outfit I see on her. Mel B knows what looks good on her, and wears it like a boss. Her carriage and charisma, together with her impeccable taste in fashion make her a true style icon. I love this toned-down version of her.

Mel B is a natural beauty as well, and I will be featuring her in the beauty muse category soon. Her skin and makeup is always beauty goals for me. I love how amazing she looks now. Looking back, I never would have thought of Mel B or any of the other Spice Girls as a Style Icon. It is great to see she has changed her fashion game for the better. Her current fashion stylist deserves an award.

Beauty Muse: Emma Bunton

Beauty Muse

The beautiful Emma Bunton aka “Baby Spice” is the Beauty Muse of the week. This woman has maintained her baby face features and she is almost 40 years old, can you believe that? It just confirms the saying, “age is nothing but a number”. I have admired this beauty muse right from her Spice Girls days. I love everything about her; her face, her voice, you name it, I love it.emma-bunton-loose-women

She also looks like a woman with a big heart. I may be wrong but from where am sitting, she looks like a genuinely lovely person. I would love to be mates with her.

While researching this beauty, I discovered we share birthdays – January 21. I am more than happy to share my birthday with this beauty.

Here are some of beauty secrets she shared with Mirror:

I KEEP MY SKIN LOOKING GREAT WITH… Chantecaille New Foundation Stick, #35. It’s hard to pronounce, but it’s a fantastic product. I don’t like anything that’s too heavy, but this makes you look like you haven’t tried too hard – you know, that ‘I’m naturally like this’ look.

MY BIGGEST INDULGENCE IS… going to spas. I just love getting spoilt at Henlow Grange or anywhere that does Elemis treatments. At home I have baths all the time – it’s my relaxation time, and at the moment I’m loving the Mama Mio Moisturising Shower Creme, #15 (the whole range is especially for pregnant women).

I WARD OFF BAD HAIR DAYS WITH… Schwarzkopf Supersoft Smoothies, (shampoo and conditioner, #2.09 each). The yoghurt and lime one is my favourite, it smells gorgeous. Bad hair days for me are just bad days altogether, so this is my first line of defence.

I love her natural blonde hair, her blue eyes and charming smileThis woman is a stunner. Do you agree? What do you think of Emma Bunton as a Beauty Muse? Sound off in the comment section.
