Add internal links

This is a tip I have been doing for years and it really does the job of improving blog engagement. If you write or refer to something you have done in the past, make sure to add an internal link so your blog readers can find the post. Adding internal links improves blog visibility and does wonders for SEO, so ensure you keep adding those relevant internal links.

Ask your readers to engage with your content

If you need something, just ask. It is a great idea to ask your blog readers to engage with your content by liking, commenting, and sharing. Adding this request in the last sentence of your blog sentence would help remind your readers to engage with the content.

The stunning Oluchi Onweagba-Orlandi is the style icon this month. For those who do not know who this beauty is, she is a Nigerian model based in New York City. Oluchi Onweagba-Orlandi came into the limelight at the tender age of 16 when she won The Face of Africa” contest. This talented young woman has been slaying on runaways and billboards ever since.

Style Icon: Oluchi Onweagba-Orlandi

I love seeing Oluchi on and off the runway. Her signature style is usually feminine, chic, and elegant. This stylish woman can look good in pretty much anything and she knows it. I love how she puts her pieces together. She is definitely a natural when it comes to fashion and style, but then again, that should come as no surprise since she has been modelling high-end designer pieces since her teenage years.

I recently came across an interview Oluchi Onweagba-Orlandi had with Vogue and she talked about where how love for fashion started from. Here are some excerpts from the interview:

Fashion was a huge part of Oluchi’s life growing up in Nigeria

I spent most of my after-school hours at a local fashion house called Henrietta Design Collections. She specializes in made-to-measure traditional Nigerian and Western outfits for her clients. I would hang around, watch, and assist her with errands. Those were my early associations with fashion. She actually introduced me to modeling.

It is lovely to see that this famous supermodel remembers her background and acknowledges where she got her love for fashion and modelling. Many people tend to forget stories like this as they ascend.

Adding a bit of Lagos fashion into her New York Wardrobe

Well, I had to adapt to the style culture to blend in. I updated my closet to main classics that never go out of style . . . including countless jeans. But I infused a little bit of Lagos fashion into my New York wardrobe by mixing knee-length, plain-fabric tunics with jeans on Fridays, and wore caftan dresses on the weekend, especially during summer.

I would love to see her wardrobe. I can already picture the stylish pieces and designs she is describing. Her outfit below is a vivid description of a blend of New York and Lagos fashion.
