Celebrity Style: Cara Delevingne in Anthony Vaccarello

Hey peoples. New month means new celebrity style post. I really tried to feature a ‘YAY or NAY’ post last month, but I couldn’t squeeze it in. So this is me making sure I publish a celebrity fashion post this month, by posting it on the 4th day of August. Say hello to the beautiful Cara Delevingne. She was spotted at the Suicide Squad New York, rocking this Anthony Vaccarello Black Studded and Perforated Black Suede Dress.

Now this right here is what I call a very bold look. Many of us won’t even dare pull this off but Cara is daring and that is what I admire most about her. Having said that, I am not sure I admire this look. I don’t think I like it to be honest. I love the bold eye makeup and the bright red lips, and her hair looks great, but paired with his outfit, the entire look does not work for me. It’s a bit too much.

I would have preferred to see her rocking this eye-popping dress with a pair of shoes, sandals or ankle boots rather than this thigh high boots. I would have also preferred to see her with a mild makeup and simple hair-do as opposed to this full-on look she has on, if that makes sense.

I like the way the Anthony Vaccarello model below styled hers, and I prefer her look. I can see more of the dress this way –

This Anthony Vaccarello dress is well over £2,000, so it is not budget-friendly at all, but if you like, I am sure you can get cheaper similar alternatives.

I have admired Natalie for a very long time now and I think she is indeed a style icon. I love how she styles her pieces and accessories. This stylish starlet always looks amazing everytime she is photographed. She is the definition of true style in my eyes. Style goals right there….

I still remember Natalie back then with her cute pixie haircut. She was and still is so cute. I kind of miss her pixie hair.

Natalie Portman is a style icon because she is not one to follow the crowd or trends. She sticks to her own personal style which is classic, elegant and confident. I love the fact that she stands out from the pack. Her personal stylists are definitely working overtime on her behalf.  She is always looking great. It is hard to believe this woman is closer to 40 than 30. She could easily pass for a twenty something year old. I like the fact that she does not seem to age or change. Natalie is truly an ageless beauty.

I will like to be like how when I grow up. I adore Natalie’s style. I look forward to seeing what she has on the red carpet, and so far I am yet to be dissappointed. I wish I could be a fly on the wall when she is meeting her stylists, I bet I could learn a thing or 2.

Celebrity Style: Rita Ora in Christian Dior

I love my Celebrity Style posts. They give me ideas on how to style various outfits, and they indulge my crazy fashion and beauty cravings, which is good. As a busy mum, I hardly have the time to watch adult fashion programes on TV with Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol on anytime the TV comes up. And at night, when I should be relaxing with some trashy TV, I am busy working, so I have to make do with fashion updates on Entertainment News and The Wendy Williams Show, my current favourite TV show. And I make sure every episode is recorded on the Sky Box. The ‘Hot Topics’ slot gives me life. I find The Wendy Williams Show very straight up, funny, engaging and different. So that keeps me busy.

Anyways back to the celebrity style post. Today, the beautiful Rita Ora is rocking a Christian Dior little black dress, a leather jacket, fishnet tights and combat boots.

Now I like this look a lot. I think Rita Ora is a very pretty woman, and her hair and makeup looks flawless here as always. The dress is pretty, a little black dress always wins in my book, and this is no different. It looks so stylish paired with the black leather jacket. The combat boots also look amazing paired with the dress. I love the overall edgy look. I can see myself rocking this outfit easily.

But I think the fishnet tights ruined the look. I don’t like it on her, and I think the outfit would have looked perfect without it. I would have given this out a 10/10 without the tights.
