Product Review – Olverum The Dry Body Oil

As a lover of body oils, I was delighted to receive a bottle of Olverum The Dry Body Oil some days ago. I have been using it daily since I got it and I really like it. It is such a lovely skincare product. For those who have never heard of this body oil, it is a therapeutic dry oil mist enriched with Alaria esculenta extract, which is known to boost the synthesis of collagen and hyaluronic acid, and preserve skin’s firmness and elasticity.

Here are my thoughts on this Olverum The Dry Body Oil

 

PROS
  1. I really like the packaging. It is simple and practical.
  2. The fragrance of this body oil relaxes me. I love it so much.
  3. This body oil is Vegan and cruelty Free. It is also free from artificial preservatives, fragrance and colourants, Silicone, Mineral oils, Petrolatum, Sulphates, Pthalates, Parabens, Triclosan and animal derived ingredients.
  4. Olverum The Dry Body Oil leaves my skin feeling moisturised, smooth and supple. I like the glow my skin gets after using this body oil.
  5. It is a lightweight, breathable body oil that is super easy to use at home or on the go.
  6. This body oil is suitable for all skin types and tones. It is also suitable or all genders and ages, which means the whole family can use it.

I can’t fault this body oil. It is as good as the other Olverum products I have tried. I am a huge fan of Olverum products as they are always so amazing.

Product Review – Vaseline Intensive Care Body Oil

I have been using Vaseline Intensive Care Body Oil for weeks now. Body Oils play a major role in my skincare routine so I am never without one. It was my first time trying this Vaseline product. I got it from my local Boots store the other day and I have used it almost every day now.

Product Description

This Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Body Oil with pure cocoa butter locks in moisture in other to repair dry and dull-looking skin. The body oil absorbs fast for a non-greasy feel. It contains Mineral Oil, Hydrogenated Styrene/Butadiene Copolymer, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, and Fragrance.

Here are my thoughts on this body oil –

PROS
  1. It is easily absorbed into the skin. So no mess with this body oil.
  2. I love the light Cocoa Butter fragrance. It smells amazing.
  3. It moisturising my skin really well. I have been using this body oil for weeks now and I love the glow it has given my skin. My skin feels moisturised the whole day after using this body oil after a morning shower.
  4. I love the texture of this Body Oil.
  5. It is quite affordable at £5.49 (as of the time of writing) for a 200ml bottle.
  6. I like the fact that it works great for sensitive skin.

I really like this Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Body Oil. It is a great body oil and I know I will be using it over and over again for years to come. It is one of those skincare products you just fall completely in love with. I knew I was going to love it. I have used Vaseline products many times and they always perform brilliantly so my loving this body oil came as no surprise.

For those who have never heard of B Loved, it is a bespoke candle making company based in Hitchin and Barcelona. The lovely brand takes pride in hand pouring every candle and they have a wide range of beautiful, natural scents to choose from. I got The Balancer – Aromatherapy Scented Candle. I am burning as I type and I love the fragrance.

Geranium – Sweet floral scent harmonising and balancing for moods – calming, uplifiting – great for anxiety, stress nervous tension

Patchouli – earthy woody scent – uplifting and grounding

Bergamot – rich sweet green citrus fruity – uplifting, relaxing, balancing great for relieving anxiety tension stress

  1. The packaging is simple but pretty.
  2. I love the fragrance as I said earlier. It is a beautiful blend of Geranium, Patchouli and Bergamot.
  3. This candle relaxes me and the scent lingers for hours after burning.
  4. It is quite affordable at £15.50 for a 20cl Candle.
  5. The wick is quite firm unlike some other candles I have used.
  6. The candle burns nicely and evenly.
