Spring is on its way, and a new season is about to begin. When it comes to all things fashion and style, that means it is almost time for lighter layers and floral pieces. I am seriously looking forward to the spring season. It feels like this winter has been on for too long, and I am itching for milder weather. The autumn and winter fashion season was fun, but a new era has begun! For those who are looking forward to spring fashion, here are 4 key spring fashion trends to explore this season.

Chic Tweed is Back

The chic tweed trend is back and it is looking great all over the high street (Mango and H&M, to name a few) and with luxury brands like Gucci and Chanel. I am a fan of this old-school trend. My tweed blazer from Next is one of my favourite blazers in my wardrobe, and I am super excited this look is making a comeback. It is such a classic trend and so easy to layer and style up.

Mint-green – The Colour of Spring

Mint-green is also coming back in grand style this spring and I am here for it. It is such a beautiful colour and very easy to mix and match. This lovely shade is back in style and you would easily spot mint-green pieces and accessories all over the high street. Green is a shade that looks great on me, so I am happy to be flooded with mint-green pieces and accessories.

Powder Pink, for a softer look

If you prefer softer colours, you would be happy to hear that powder pink is also on trend this spring. This soft and feminine shade has been all over the spring catwalks, and you would easily spot the shade on the high street as well. I find powder pink very easy to wear and when I am in the mood for a softer pastel look, I find myself reaching for items in this shade.

Tank Tops are Here

For the lovers of Tank Tops, you would be glad to hear that they are back and better than ever! This trend took center stage on the catwalks and the styles and designs looked divine.

To expand on this, I have bought a few tank tops already and they are so pretty. I got mine from H&M and they are not just regular tank tops, the designs are so stylish, with a chunky chain neckline, which took the look to a whole new level. I am looking forward to styling them, and there are loads of options with various price tags for tank top lovers who want to explore this fashion trend.

Perfume Review – Chanel Sycomore Eau de Parfum

I love my Chanel perfumes, so falling in love with this baby right here was easy! Chanel Sycomore Eau de Parfum is a unisex fragrance from the Les Exclusifs de Chanel collection. I sniffed it while shopping in Paris last summer and knew I had to have it. The fragrance is warm, woody, spicy, and smoky, so if that sounds like the sort of scent you like, you would love Chanel Syc0more Eau de Parfum.

Chanel Sycomore Eau de Parfum reminds me of the earthy scent of Vetiver. It smells amazing yet not overpowering. This is a perfume that sits close to the skin, so the projection is not as strong as some of the other fragrances in my collection. Having said that, it does the job perfectly when I want my perfume to stay closer to my skin.

Perfume Review – Chanel Sycomore Eau de Parfum

The fragrance SYCOMORE was created by Gabrielle Chanel in 1930. Named for a giant tree, SYCOMORE evokes the earthy nature of autumn. It recounts the heat radiating from the earth, like an echo to Mademoiselle’s childhood amongst the centuries-old volcanoes in Auvergne.

SYCOMORE by Chanl is composed around the smoky scent of vetiver. Its notes of cedar and vanilla leave behind a reassuring, slightly spicy fragrant touch.

PROS
  1. The bottle was beautifully wrapped, and the service at the store was amazing.
  2. I love the fragrance a lot. I find it so refreshing.
  3. It is a unisex fragrance and is one of those fragrances you can wear all through the year.
  4. I like that Sycomore is not overpowering at all. It is an easy scent to wear.
CONS
  1. I would have preferred if this perfume had a bit more projection. It becomes a skin scent after a few hours, it would have been lovely to have it project a little longer.

Overall, I would rate this perfume 7/10. It is a lovely fragrance to try out, especially for the clean skin scent lovers. I also got samples from the other fragrances in the Chanel Exclusif range, and they are all so good. I wish I could have a full-sized bottle of them all!
