How to make hand wash with essential oils

*Affiliate links.

Have you been struggling to buy a hand wash? It looks like they are sold out worldwide now. I can’t seem to find them anywhere! The hand wash being sold online now are going for exorbitant prices. With all the hand washing required now, I can see why many are stocking up and why the shelves are empty. This is why we should consider making our own hand wash with essential oils. I started playing around again with essential oils last month. Essential Oils can be very harmful if you don’t know how to use them. I have blogged before about me thinking essential oils were just regular oils, and how it almost drained me. So I know how strong these oils can be. However, the pros outweigh the cons massively and that’s why I decided to try using them again with caution. If you haven’t used essential oils before, I won’t recommend you try making your hand wash with these oils. It is best to have some experience using essential oils on its own before you start creating products with them.

Homemade products don’t preservatives, which is why you should only make the amount you will need for about 2 weeks or so. You can decide to not include the essential oils if you like or you could use other types. I like the Tea Tree essential oil because it includes antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Lavender Essential Oil smells amazing and it also promotes relaxation.

I will be sharing clips of the hand wash mixture I have made on social media in the few days, so keep your eyes peeled. Thanks for reading and do let me know how your mixture turns out if you try this recipe. Links to all the products mentioned here are below –

I love everything about Aishwarya Rai’s facial features. She is a true beauty. Her eyes are the most prominent feature for me; I think they are so beautiful.

Aishwarya Rai’s Beauty Secrets

Naturally, I have been curious to know Aishwarya Rai ‘s beauty secrets, and who wouldn’t. She is drop dead gorgeous, so being a fly on her beauty cupboard would be a dream. I went digging and found out a bit about her beauty/skincare routine.

Here are some excerpts from a recent interview.

The beauty advice I would pass on to my daughter is simple—always drink a lot of water, nourish your skin and hair with vitamin-rich food and keep it simple. I think the biggest learning I can give her is to be at peace with herself and be happy—that will make her a naturally beautiful human being, inside and out.

This is a fantastic tip. I struggle to drink as much water as I should, especially in the autumn/winter season. However, I know how important it is to drink lots of water, so I make a conscious effort to drink as much as I can.

Being at peace with oneself is also very important, and I am glad Aishwarya Rai is sharing this tip. I find I look my best when I am happy and healthy.

How I wear my hair de
pends on my mood, the occasion and what I am wearing. I’m not fussy about wearing it a certain way—I
 like experimenting. I do feel
it’s extremely important to nourish and oil your hair regularly, and essential oils are
my biggest indulgence. It’s also really important to eat healthy, as what you eat has a direct impact on your skin and hair.

Nourishing and oiling the hair regularly is very important. I learned that in my adult years and I am definitely going to pass down on to my daughter. The uses and benefits of Essential oils are also very numerous.
