Dubai – My Favourite Travel Destination

Dubai is one of my favourite holiday destinations. We have visited Dubai 3 times now, and I am looking forward to planning our 4th trip. I think Dubai should be on every travel list. It is truly an amazing place to holiday. It is great for families with children as well as couples. We have visited the country as a couple and as family of 4, and we had lovely experiences on every trip.

Here are some of the reasons why Dubai is my favourite travel destination-

Great for shopping

The fashion lovers would love Dubai because it is a great place to shop. There is a yearly stopping festival that would suit the shopping lovers. This year it is happening from 26th December to 28th December. It is a fantastic shopping festival with loads of activities. We were lucky enough to experience the shopping festival 2 years ago. It was a great experience; one I would never forget. The amazing fireworks were beautiful to watch. And the jaw dropping bargains were great for my travel money.

A lot to see

There is so much to see in Dubai. From Jumeirah Beach, to the famous dessert, to Wild Wadi Water Parks, and the Gold Souk. There is somewhere to explore for everyone. You can’t be bored in Dubai regardless of how many times you have visited. There is always something new to see.

You get value for money

We get good value for money when we visit the Middle East. Some of the main tourist attraction can be a little pricey. But when it comes to things like taxis, food and drinks, and hotels, Dubai is reasonably cheap, unlike many other popular travel destinations.

Amazing weather

The Dubai weather is so beautiful. The best time to visit Dubai is between December and March. The weather is nice and warm then, unlike other months in the year where it could be unbearably hot. We visited Dubai last July and it was fun but dead hot. Almost too hot to do anything. I won’t be doing that again.

Have you visited Dubai before? What do you think of the travel destination? Please share your thoughts and experiences in the comments section below.

Thanks for reading. Have a lovely day.

Holidaying in Dubai

I am back from our Middle East mini tour. We visited Dubai and Oman, and we had an amazing time. I am still recovering from the excitement, trying to get back into the swing of things. I came back to a mountain of work, hundreds of emails, and the works, and I still have a suitcase to unpack (my least favourite job in the world), but I have decided to do that some other time. Right now, I need to blog!

I will be telling you more about our visit to Muscat, Oman, in my next travel lifestyle post, but for now, it is all about the beautiful cosmopolitan city of Dubai. This is my third time visiting the amazing country, and I am so in love with it. There is always something to do, something new to look forward to. Dubai is full of excitement and screams luxury.

Although, the weather was boiling hot at over 40 degrees while we were holidaying, we still managed to have a good time, with plenty of water, suncream and sunhats! It is a summer holiday to remember forever!

We spent most of our days exploring the Jumeirah Beach Resort. We stayed over at DoubleTree Hilton Jumeriah Beach, and it came with a private beach, which we visited almost everyday.

The kids had a blast splashing in the amazing cool kids swimming pool and they also made the most of the beach with their sand castle toys. It was a perfect summer vacation for the family; a holiday I would never forget.

I have been busy sharing snaps from Holiday on my social media platforms, so free feel to play catch on them, and let me know what you think.

It was a relaxing break, that was urgently needed. And now I feel ready to take on the rest of the year. I am looking forward to my next Dubai trip. Hopefully, I won’t have to wait too long.

Here’s a glimpse of some things we got to see in Dubai –

Happy Holidays

Happy holidays guys. I hope you all had a merry Christmas. I did. Christmas was fun and I am still in the holiday mode. This Christmas was definitely one of the best I have ever had in my almost 30 years on earth. It was incredible and I am still having a swell time.

I am writing this post overlooking this amazing view from my sea view room on Jumeirah Beach. It is the most beautiful view I have seen in a very long time, and I am soaking it all in; making the most of it. I am having an amazing holiday as you can imagine. This is my second time visiting Dubai, and it is even more beautiful now than when I visited almost 5 years ago. It is like paradise on earth. If you have ever been to Dubai, you would know exactly what I mean. To think all of these did not exist a few years ago is unbelievable. I am yet to see any other country as beautiful as Dubai.

Apart from the beauty of Dubai, there is so much to do here that there is never a dull moment. I am yet to see any other country which as much to do as Dubai, well things I am interested in anyways. The kids are having so much fun, it feels so good to give them an amazing Christmas. And the Christmas vibe here is surprisingly cool.
