Style Icon: Lauren Pope

Hey fashion and style lovers! Happy new month! Welcome to the amazing month of April. The style icon for this month is the very stylish Lauren Pope. For reality tv show fans, you would recognise Lauren Pope from the hit tv show – The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE). For those who do not know this style icon, Lauren Pope is a model, television personality and DJ. She regularly appeared on TOWIE until she officially left the show in March 2019. I have been a huge fan of Pope’s sense of style. She was one of the reasons why I usually watched TOWIE back in the day. The girls on the reality show were always dressed in their Sunday’s best and they gave me loads of fashion inspiration. Pope’s outfits always look very nice on her. She has a great taste in fashion and she knows what looks good on her.

Style Icon: Lauren Pope

I love seeing Lauren Pope’s outfits on Instagram. Her Instagram page is one of my favourites. She is fashion goals all day, everyday. I get a lot of fashion inspiration from her many different looks. This style icon looks good in pretty much everything. Her slender  body shape allows her get away with different pieces and she rocks them like a pro! She is one of the TOWIE girls I really admire. Pope’s personal style is very feminine and chic. She can be easily spotted wearing crop tops, baggy pants and fitted dresses. If I am to describe her personal style in two words, they would casual chic. Her sense of style works great for her.

If I Could Live Like a Celebrity

I love watching reality shows. Some of my favourites are The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE), The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and The Rachel Zoe Project. I was also a huge fan of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and all their other spin-off shows, but I have recently gone off those.

Reality TV or Trashy TV as some of us like to call it is so relatable, and I guess that is the reason why they are loved by millions. You get to see these celebs living their lives, in their homes doing regularly stuff and it becomes addictive. I don’t watch reality tv shows as much as I used to some years (hardly watch TV these days) but I still play catch up on a few and watch more movies instead.

I am a huge fan of James Bond films, I have seen many of them including the latest Spectre. I like the flashy lifestyle of James Bond in the movies. From his expensive suit and shoes, to his cars, sunglasses and watches. The James Bond character is definitely living the life!

I recently came across this Licence to Chill infographic on www.chillmoney.ie  and I found it very insightful. It shows off the very lavish lifestyle of James Bond, Martin McFly and Jay Gatsby. I found the figures alarmingly. Who knew a one bedroom flat in Chelsea London would cost £700,000? Or the Omega Seamaster 300 watch would cost £4600? But then again, I am not too surprised, this is exactly how a A list celebrity lifestyle looks like.

I wouldn’t mind living a James Bond lifestyle for a bit, exclusing the fights and violence. I will be in it for the lavish bit only.

Style Icon: Billie Faiers

The stunning Billie Faiers is a Style Icon. I have admired her style and that of her sister – Samantha Faiers, since their TOWIE days, and I still love their fashion sense. I love Billie’s chic fashion sense. She brings her style game on every time, and she hasn’t allowed her current baby bump slow her down at all.

I love going through her snaps on Instagram. I can literally spend the whole day doing that if life lets me. I can see myself wearing almost every piece I see her rocking. I think we have similar taste in fashion. I guess that is why you are reading this post.

But now seriously, it should come as no surprise that Billie Faiers is a style icon. This woman is a confirmed fashion lover with the successful family’s fashion boutique business, her clothing range and her many stylish outfit, she is style goals!

I do miss seeing her on TOWIE. Her style was one of the reasons why I was so into TOWIE. She looks so good in everything!

I wish I could be a fly on the wall of Billie Faiers’ wardrobe, just so I can have a look at her entire collection. She is always rocking some really stylish pieces, and she makes every piece look so cool.

I also like the fact that she mixes regular high street pieces with more expensive designer pieces, and she nails it every time.

Well, I think it’s important for everyone to have their own individual style and look but, most importantly, they should dress for their shape. It’s really important to wear what suits your figure. Don’t wear things that might not be flattering just because they’re fashionable or on trend.

 

I agree with this style tip. Dress for your figure and not trend.
