How to make passive income

Nowadays, there are so many ways to make passive income. I have tried quite a few ways of making extra money here and there online, and I am forever researching new ways to generate more. Making money while sleeping is the dream, and the more passive the income, the sweeter it is. Also, if you have various streams of passive income, it allows you to have more time to invest in other streams of income that might require a lot more effort.

If you are wondering how to make more passive income online this year, you are reading the right blog. Here are a few ideas you could try.

How to protect your money as a high earner picture

  • Blogging

Having a blog creates passive income from ads, affiliate programs, and sponsored posts (indirectly). As a blogger, you make money every time someone visits your blog, and old posts you have written years ago still make money for you. If you have a thing of writing and creating, then running a blog should be fun and easy for you. I started blogging in 2012 and I can see myself blogging forever. It is such a great way of generating passive income.

  • Get involved in Cryptocurrency

I am sure you would have heard all about Cryptocurrencies and how they work. Many people I know in real life are heavily involved in making a passive income from crypto. You can invest your money, whatever the currency, at the level of risk that suits you and you get paid interest. This is great for those who have a bit of money in the bank and want to make their money work hard for them.

  • Vlogging

If you prefer to be in front of a camera and you have something to teach or share, then Vlogging may be the right passive income generator for you. It takes quite a bit of work to get your YouTube Channel to the point where you make enough passive income but once you get to that sweet spot, the only way is up!

  • Sell Digital Products

Another way of making passive income online is to sell digital products. These products could be Kindle books, templates, printables, online courses, templates, and so on. Once you put in the work and get the digital product ready, it usually sells itself. You can also sell as many digital products as you can create. You don’t have to worry about physical space to store your products and the costs for production are usually low.

  • Real Estate Investing

This is one of the oldest ways of generating passive income and it still works great today. If you have enough money, you can invest in real estate and let the money work for you. It makes sense to get a property management company to deal with the running of the rental while you count your money. There are loads of building management services to check out for this service, so do some research. That way you have the time to chase other income streams.

Vlogging

Setting a YouTube channel is another way to make the most of your free time stuck at home. I have a YouTube channel and it keeps us busy as well. If you have a thing for visual content and you have knowledge to share, vlogging may be your calling.

Baking

We love baking here. We have baked loads of cakes in the last couple of weeks. The next on our baking list is a Banana Loaf! You could get yourself a baking book online and play around with different recipes. It may just be the start of a new hobby or career.

Hairdressing

Many of us have no idea how to really cake for our hair. Some of us struggle to do our own hair. One new skill I am working on is hairdressing. I already make my hair and daughter’s hair in plaits and all, but I also want to really learn how to make cornrows. I will be watching loads of YouTube videos to help me.

Make your beauty products

I do this already and I plan to make even more beauty products at home. At the moment, I make hair oils and hand wash products from home and it gives me joy that I am able to make some of the products I need from home. You could do this as well. Do some research online and find the area that interests you.

Writing

Do you have a flair for writing? You could improve your writing from home and even write a book if you are feeling up to it. The sky is only the beginning.

Rediscovering Vlogging

I set up my YouTube account around 2012 but didn’t publish any videos. YouTube has always been an interesting platform to me. I watch multiple videos on there almost everyday, but for some reason, I never got around to publishing videos. I finally got over my cold feet, and started blogging in the summer of 2018. A brand I was working with wanted to see a video content of mine so I had to.

Back To Vlogging

I put up a few videos last year, but abandoned the channel all through this year until last week when the first video of the year went up. I have posted another video this week and I think I am finally getting into it all again. The Kiddies are excited, which is good. I think they are a lot more interested in video content than I am.

Growing My YouTube

I am slowly (very slowly) growing my YouTube channel. I have only 16 subscribers on there, and that is my fault. Who wants to follow a channel that has no videos? That will be changing and I am hoping this my new found zeal stays for good this time. Writing comes natural to me. I can write in my sleep if I have too, but recording myself does not come natural to me at all. Editing the video and getting it on YouTube took me ages to figure out. I am still learning. My videos are not where I want them to me, but they work for now. I have a new respect for vloggers with great quality videos. They make it all look very easy but the whole process if far from easy.

I plan to grow my YouTube Channel by positing videos regularly. I will be sharing reviews, kids content, travel/holiday, beauty, fashion and general vlogs as well, so do subscribe to my channel.

Leave the name of YouTube Channel in the comments section if you have one. I would love to follow you.
