Easter Gift Guide 2016

I still cannot believe Easter is just a couple of days away. The year seems to be flying away already right? I am so happy we have a long weekend ahead, and I have loads of actvities planned out, so it should be fun. I am usually up for exchanging gifts every chance I get, so I make the most of every opportunity. I know there are so many gift guides floating around the web as you read this post, so I decided to come up with a slightly different last minute gift guide. This Easter Gift Guide for 2016, is for those people in your life, that like quirky home and personal gifts, you may get some ideas on here for them.

Shabby Chic Wicker Laundry Basket

Shabby Chic Image

This Shabby Chic Laundry Basket is a thoughtful gift to give a ‘home-body’. It might fill in a gap. I know I like to have my laundry in order, in a handy storage, so I would have loved to own this rather than those flimsy storage net baskets. This originally goes for £60, but it is currently on sale at House of Fraser for £40.

NutriBullet 12 Piece 600 Series Juicer Blender

NutriBullet

This NutriBullet is great for the fitness freaks, people interested in eating and drinking healthy, detox and the works. We have a NutriBullet in our home, so I can testify to how great this handy gadget is. You can grab this at on Argos, Amazon, and many other departmental stores. Prices usually start from £69.99.

Yankee Candles

Yankee Candle

Scented candles are great for ‘home-bodies’, and for anyone who likes their home smelling good. Yankee Candles are amazing scented candles to own and to give away as a gift. There are widely available at House of Fraser, and many other stores, so run some searches online to get the best deal.

Amazon Kindle

Amazon Kindle

Investing in an Amazon Kindle 5 years ago was one of the best things I ever did. My clothes, shoes and bags didn’t have to compete with my ever-growing book collection. I also found myself reading more as it was so convenient. This is a great gift idea for the book lovers in your life. Prices vary depending on what you want, so check them over on Amazon.

So there you have it, my Easter Gift Guide for 2016. What are your thoughts? Do share.

Thanks for reading this post, have a great day.

OOTD: Spring is Here

Outfit Post Image

It is officially spring and I am so looking forward to rocking spring wears this season. I had fun rocking winter fashion, but it felt like it dragged on for so long, and to be honest it still doesn’t quite feel like spring on most days, where I live anyways. So this post is more about me ushering in spring fashion, and hoping the lovely sunshine fills  my window.

This week has been very busy for me,and it is going to get even busier with the short week/Easter holidays coming up. I have quite a few posts I need to get ready before the end of this month, so wish me luck. A lot of writing and scheduling will have to be done, which means multiple daily content for you my dears.

Hello Spring Image

Outfit Post Closet Bolero Lace Jacket

When it comes to spring fashion, I like to layer lightly, just incase it suddenly becomes stupidly cold. For this look, I paired this blue Marchelle Crop Top Jumpsuit I got some months ago with my good old lace bolero and it worked. I felt comfortable all day (travelled down to Essex for a family event), and I looked good, if I may say so myself (wink wink).

Also, for this look I shopped my closet – all pieces were either sent to me or I bought many months or even years ago. The gold lace bolero jacket, I have had for more than 4 years now and it still looks as good as the first day I wore it. That is why buying quality pieces is so very important. When it comes to little things like socks, tights, children’s play clothes and stuff like that, I am happy to buy cheap, but when it comes clothing and accessories, I intend to wear to events and have for years, I like to go for more pricey pieces I like, because they will likely stand the test of time and wash.

Handbag Wishlist March 2016

If you know me well enough, then you will know I am a ‘bag woman’. I am happy to splurge away on high quality handbags as opposed to shoes. I think most women usually favour one over the other, so some spend on shoes more than they spend on bags, and a good number of women I know also pay the same attention to shoes and bags, and spend the same amount, happily shopping for both, lol. Whatever rocks your boat right?

I am currently lusting after some gorgeous arm candies I have spotted online. I spend an insane amount of time online, lusting after various pieces and accessories online, dreaming of when I would have an unlimited budget and be able to buy whatever I want, when I want, but for now, I will happily drool over these handbags, and grab them as soon as I can.

Come drool with me:

Armani Jeans Eco Saff Black Medium Tote Bag

I have had my eye on this handbag for some months now. I like the size, and the minimal design, and I am in need of more black bags so I may be grabbing this arm candy very soon. It currently goes for £115, so it is quite affordable, for me anyway.

Lauren Ralph Lauren Bainbridge Navy Large Tote Bag

I adore navy blue, so I am usually drawn to anything in that colour. This bag would be an amazing casual bag to own. It would look amazing with a t-shirt and a pair of jeans, or a denim dress. I have some many outfits centered around this handbag, and at £99 only, I will be looking into getting this handbag as soon as my bank balance allows.

Love Moschino Superquilt Black Flapover Shoulder Bag

Love Moschino Bag Image

This Moschino Flapover bag is the perfect shoulder bag. Great for events, dinner dates, and when you want to look formal/’all dressed up’. I recently fell in love with shoulder bags as I find them very easy to just throw over with juggling two toddlers currently going through the terrible twos stage. Shoulder bags make it very easy for me to look stylish and have my hands free to grab them, best of both worlds right? This beauty currently costs £145.

Michael Kors Cynthia Blue Tote Bag

Michael Kors Bag

When it comes to handbag, Michael Kors is easily the Boss, and this powder blue handbag confirms it. This beauty is currently the Queen of my heart. I love the shade of blue, so cool and the design is so amazing. This arm candy will fit right into my wardrobe. I see myself grabbing this handbag easily. You can get this for £285.

Ted Baker Sienna Black Large Tote Bag

Good things come to those who wait they say, so I will be waiting patiently to bring this Ted Baker Sienna tote bag home. I love the cute bow design, and it is another black bag so this will easily fill the gab in my bag collection. It goes for £269.

So what do you think of these bags? Which is your favourite?Sound off in the comment section.

All bags are available at House of Fraser.

Happy shopping.
