OOTD: Footsteps To Follow

This week has been a great week, so great that I have yet another outfit post for you. I hope this greatness continues, footsteps to follow for the new year, eh. I promise to post a lot more outfit pictures in 2016, crossing my fingers and my toes, so watch out!

Luxemme Outfit Post

This week I bring to you, this stunning Anita High Neck Swing dress by Luxemme. This dress is a showstopper, literally. You need to see the back of the dress to believe me. It is a fun and flirty piece, great for the clubs and the parties, but conservative enough to wear to a wedding, daytime event or even the church, as long as you pop a blazer on, and make sure you don’t take it off, it is a fantastic versatile dress to rock this season.

Luxemme Swing Dress

The floaty chiffon outer layer is so comfortable, it gently skims off the figure, putting a swing in my steps. It is not a great choice for a windy day, but who cares, it looks so good.

I wanted a more conservative look and it was too freaking cold, so I popped a jacket on. This good old tweed jacket is the best, I have had this jacket for donkey years and it is still doing the work. I love the classic overall look, it was the look I had planned in my head.

I finished up the look down with a pair of my new black ankle boots and a clutch bag for a lazy day out.You can grab this dress or any other piece you fancy on Luxemme, there are many stylish pieces up for grabs and you even get a 10% off when you buying via the link  above, so happy shopping.

OOTD: The Christmas Long Sleeve Top

Christmas Outfit

We had some lovely weather in Cheshire over the weekend, before it became painfully cold, so I made good use of the sunshine and got some outfit pictures taken. I received this Christmassy red long sleeve ski top by Jolly Clothing, a Christmas retro-styled independent fashion label based in Wales. This ‘made in the UK’ label was launched in 2012, every piece is designed and printed in the UK, and it sells around the world. Have a look at their site for Christmas gifts for all ages, you are sure to find something you like, and they are also quite affordable. This top I have on is £18 only and the quality is great, even after popping it in the wash.

I love everything about this top. It is perfect for the season, a great Christmas top to style, and my very first Christmas top (this week seems to be all about my firsts), I love it. I will be wearing a lot of this piece in the next couple of weeks, my kids love it, all I need is a Christmas hat and I am good to go on Christmas Day, lol…

Lylia Rose Scarf

I styled my beautiful jumper with this eye-catching Black Music Note Foil Print Scarf by Lylia Rose. This beauty is just the way I like my scarves; soft, oversize and light weight. This scarf also feels good to touch, it is so beautiful, I got a couple of nice comments on the day I wore it. It feels slightly thicker than a regular scarf, so it will come in handy this chilly season. I am in love, are you?

Red Christmas Jumper

If you are then you are in luck because, the lovely people at Lylia Rose are offering my readers a 20% off all orders, no expiry, with the code FASHIONPOLICE, so you can get some Christmas presents sorted, and even grab some items for yourself. Lylia Rose is an independent store, it stocks jewellery, fashion accessories like scarves, snoods, purses, makeup bags, pins and brooches so there is something for every woman. I am yet to finish my Christmas shopping, so I will also be using this discount to get a few accessories for my family and friends.

Christmas Jumper Look

Here is me hoping I get some good weather over the weekend, so I can get some outfit and product pictures sorted. Being a blogger is so hard during the autumn and winter months, because it gets dark at  3pm, so I have to fit in EVERYTHING before then. I have so much to show you guys, I wish I had the summer daylight right now. There is just a lot to do, but I will get them all done one at a time.

I plan to continue posting daily for the rest of the year so I can get all the Christmas related posts out as soon as possible. Wish me luck, enjoy the rest of your week.

OOTD: Ladies, Start Layering..

With the clocks going back over the weekend, and the cold weather gradually settling in, I am happy to have stylish, interesting pieces to keep me looking and feeling good.

One thing I love about the autumn/winter season, apart from the beautiful golden leaves, and cool weather, is the opportunity to rock layers. I think wearing layers is the easiest way to look effortlessly stylish and comfortable. Do you agree?

Autumn Layering

Debenhams

I have recently rearranged my wardrobe for the season, (I do that twice a year because my wardrobe is not large enough to house all my clothes and accessories) and I am so excited to show off some pieces I have set aside to feature on the blog this season, so keep your eyes open.

I was recently asked to select some pieces from the Autumn/Winter collection at Debenhams, and I knew the pieces I wanted instantly. I wanted a burgundy/dark red knitted jumper for a while now, it is  perfect foundation piece for layering, so that was the first on my list. I think the dark red colour is so beautiful, and the cream collar is dead cute. This knitted jumper is so British.

Layering

Another item I have wanted in my wardrobe for a while now is a pair of black high Chelsea Boots, I have wanted this for ages now. I think these boots are very versatile, and they look great when paired with skinny jeans/leggings, dresses and skirts, a great all-rounder. A must-have this season, and this is a perfect pair with a perfect fit and easy to walk-in heel.

Autumn Booties

A classic snood is another fashion essential for everyone this autumn. I went for a monochrome windowpane checked print, perfect for styling loose or doubled over. A snood is great to fight off the cold chills, and look stylish doing it.

Marc Jacobs

I also got the opportunity to review this gorgeous Marc Jacobs sunglasses from the lovely people at Sunglasses Shop and if you are a regular reader, you will know how much I love my sunnies. Adding this gorgeous pair from the talented designer – Marc Jacobs, to my luxury sunglasses collection was the peak of my week. I love the oversize, quirky, butterfly shape, and the black and white colour. This is now my new favourite pair.

Autumn Layers

Ladies, do not compromise on style this autumn, get a wardrobe refresh and start layering up now.
