Dubai – A Destination for Thrill Seeking Holiday

I love travelling. Exploring various cities/countries always put me on the high, which is why I always look out for any travel opportunity I can lay my hands on. We have kind of slowed down our travelling because of the kiddies. We have visited many countries with the kids but the reality of it is travelling with them isn’t easy. The good news is that they are getting older, so our travel thrill seeking holidays would be back on track. We have a few cities we are thinking of visiting in the next few months and I hope they happen.

Looking back at all the holidays I have been on in the last few years, my favourite is and always will be (for now anyway) Dubai. I just love that place. It is a beautiful holiday destination. There is something for everyone and for every family. It is a thrill seeking holiday for sure so if you are after good fun, you need to visit Dubai.

Regardless of what you are into, there are definitively activities to keep you very busy. And as long as your travel insurance covers all aspects of your travel, you are fine to explore and have good fun. The importance of travelling with a travel insurance that covers everyone on the trip and all aspects of your trip can’t be overemphasised. Travel Insurance is not something you should ever skip when going on holiday as you never know when it would come in handy. And it pays to be safe than sorry. If you are shopping around for best deals on travel insurance, you can check out https://www.bupaglobal.com/en/quote for a quote.

When it comes to Dubai adventures, there are so many activities to catch your fancy. From skydiving with a view to riding camels in the desert. And if you are into water sports in particular, there you will really enjoy Dubai. There are so many water sports activities to do in various water parks. We had a good time at Wild Wadi when we visited Dubai last year. The water rides were a lot of fun. The kiddies really so much. And the year before, we visited The Atlantis The Palm’s Aquaventure Waterpark and that was even more fun. We got on so many cool water rides/slides, the craziest being the Leap of Faith – a near-vertical drop for the bravest holiday thrill seekers.

Dubai is definitely a major tourist attraction. It is a great holiday destination and it is always the first place I recommend anyone to go on holiday. I have visited the amazing place 3 times now and I still can’t get enough of it. It is one place I can freely let my hair down and just have some fun. The weather is always good with plenty of warm weather. However it is best to avoid visiting Dubai between June and October when the weather is dead warm. Visiting between December – March is fine as it is not as warm as other months.

Skincare Routine – How to Use Your Skincare Products in the Right Order

You may have brought all the right products but did you know that the efficiency of your skincare products has a lot to do with the order in which they are applied? It also depends heavily on the ingredients, which is why many people are now exploring with CBD skincare private label products, as they are made with anti-inflammatory ingredients by manufacturers that sell in bulk. Paying attention to both where your skincare products are from, and how they are applied, is very important in determining how effective your skincare routine is.
Failure to apply your skincare products in the right order will harm your skin, cause irritation and even dryness. To get the full benefit of your skincare products you need to know how to layer them in the right way. Here is the exact order you must follow in your skincare routine.

Step #1: The Cleanser

You may have washed your face, but you must not apply any products on your face without first giving it a good cleanse with a cleanser. The cleanser goes deep into your pores to get rid of any dirt, grime, or oil that the soap and water weren’t able to wash off.

Step #2: The Toner

This step is essential to enable your skin to absorb the other products into your skin. Toners help to balance the pH levels and restore the skin after cleansing. It also gives your complexion that needed boost.

Step #3: The Serums

Serums contain a lot of rich and powerful ingredients like antioxidants, retinol, or ceramides. So, it’s wise to apply serums after toning to allow those ingredients to seep into the skin.

To ensure that the serum gets into the skin, it’s best to pat them on your skin. Just like other skincare products, it’s also important to note the order in which you layer your serums. You need to apply serums with a lighter consistency first before the ones with heavier consistency. This will ensure that both serums work effectively without overshadowing the other. You can check out these Gundry MD Dark Spot Diminisher reviews for an example of an effective serum for diminishing dark spots.

Step #4: The Eye Cream

The skin around your eyes is thinner and that area needs more tender love and care. Eye creams are usually lightweight to ensure easy absorption of nutrients into the skin.

Eye creams are never slathered under the eyes. That could irritate the delicate under-eye area. Just like serums, eye creams should be gently tapped into your skin but this time with your ring finger.

Step #5: The Moisturizer

Hydration is extremely important for your skin. Moisturizers provide you with the hydration your skin needs to look its best. If you have dry skin, you’ll need a lot more than other skin types. You could apply facial oil for added moisture.

Most people with oil-prone skin feel that they can skip this step but that would only set their oil glands into action. This would cause more pimples. A lightweight moisturizer is ideal for you if you have oily skin.

Step #6: The Sunscreen

The last layer must always be sunscreen. Prolonged sun exposure can be harmful to your skin and is oftentimes the cause of premature ageing. Consistent use of sunscreen will help reverse the signs of ageing.

Make sure that you choose a sunscreen with a high SPF for better protection from the sun. Never leave your house without applying sunscreen, even in the winter.

Creating the Perfect Outdoor Area for Your Pet

As much as they love snuggling up inside the home on those long, cold nights or dull, rainy days, there’s nothing our pets love more than getting out and about in the great outdoors. Which is why your outdoor area has to be in a good shape. While dogs will quite happily go for a run in the park, most cats prefer to stay closer to home, and therefore, it’s imperative that your garden or outdoor space is pet-friendly and suitable for your furry friend to explore, play or nap in!

Safety is key and it is important that your pet is secure and knows that they are safe when they are out in the garden. However, it can be easy to overlook some of the common issues and dangers that your outdoor area may present to an inquisitive nose!

To find out more about pets, check out this fab website – Why do pets. Here are some top tips to help you get your garden space in tip-top condition ready for your pets to enjoy!

Security

Pets are notorious escape artists, and you never know when something might spook your cat or intrigue your dog. Therefore, it’s essential to ensure that your outdoor space is secure – this means keeping any gates firmly closed, ensuring there are no gaps in or under fences or hedges, and if necessary, making sure that your cat can’t easily jump over the boundary! While this may feel a little claustrophobic at first, it’s important to remember that your pet’s safety should always come first.

Comfort

Both dogs and cats love nothing more than a snooze in the sun or reclining in their favourite shady spot, so make sure that you are capitalising on the comfort factor by incorporating this into the design of your garden. You could even try investing in artificial grass for the ultimate pet-friendly, low-maintenance lawn. Design

If you’re a bit of a green-fingered gardener, the last thing you want is your pet to trample all over your prized plants. Therefore, it’s important to carefully consider the design and layout of your garden and settle on a plan that will keep everyone happy! Remember that pets will need some space to play in and let off some steam, similar to any children in your family. With this in mind, it may be a good idea to incorporate features like raised flower beds and hardier plants into your garden to help ward off unruly pets and keep your gardening dreams alive.

Health

While you might think that a particular plant looks lovely, that newly-installed flower might just spell disaster for your pet. As with their safety and security, it’s essential to always keep your pet’s health in mind and make sure that their outdoor area is free from potential harm. Although it is always worth double checking before you buy, some of the most common plants that are toxic to pets include the crocus, lily, tulip, foxtail and azalea.

Wildlife

Although not every garden will have an influx of animal visitors, the chances are that most residential gardens will have wildlife of some sort visiting on a fairly regular basis. From birds and bugs to hedgehogs, foxes, and mice, you may be surprised by the variety of animals passing through your garden! While many animals will naturally avoid gardens where they can see or smell your pet, some may be a bit bolder and venture into their territory. If this happens, make sure to closely monitor the situation, and if necessary, be prepared to prevent your pet fromentering the garden while the wild animal is there. When it comes to bugs, watch out for bees and wasps in the warmer months – some pets may try to snap at them, which could lead to stings.

No matter whether you have a dog, a cat or a small animal, with just a little preparation, it won’t be long before you and your pet areout there soaking up the sunshine in your own little slice of paradise.
