Dakota Johnson Covers British Vogue February 2016

The Fifty Shades of Grey star –  Dakota Johnson is the cover girl of British Vogue February 2016. This beauty was photographed by the legendary Alasdair McLellan, wearing Celine, and looking very sexy. I guess she was channeling her Anastasia “Ana” Steele character in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, while posing for the cover. I think the cover is so pretty.

I am not surprised to see Dakota Johnson on this Vogue cover. Her movie – Fifty Shades of Grey, was a huge success, and Vogue, just like every other magazine company, like being associated with anyone who is successful, just look at the likes of Lupita Nyong’o plastered all over various magazine covers last year and Kim Kardashian landing her first Vogue cover last year, to get the idea.

Will I be buying this issue? I doubt I will be, because if I am being honest (honesty is what we do here), I am not that interested in Dakota Johnson. Pretty girl and all, but she is just not my flavour. I think her acting was painfully poor, in fact bad in Fifty Shades of Grey. I was so disappointed in her and her co-star – Jamie Dornan’s acting skills. At times, I forgot I was watching the famous Fifty Shades of Grey, because it did not live up to the whole hype at all. I was grateful I saw the movie for free online, watching that in the cinema would have pissed me off proper. In my eyes, it was an erotic movie gone wrong.

Having said that, I would love to read the ‘Decoding spring, The runaway edit. That sounds like it would be a good read.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Covers Glamour UK February 2016

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Covers Glamour UK February 2016

GLAMOUR-Feb16-Cover_glamour_22dec15_pr_b_1

I came across the latest Glamour issue online and I am eager to grab a copy. The very beautiful Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is on the cover for the February issue and she looks stunning on it, as expected. Her makeup is flawless, hair looks beautiful in a straight out of the bed, messy way, and she has on a white piece, which looks great on the cover. This woman ALWAYS looks perfect.

A model, actress, entrepreneur, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is a force to reckon with in the entertainment industry. Her lingerie line with M&S is currently the best-selling in the country, and she is launching a cosmetics line also with M&S Autograph; Rosie For Autograph Cosmetics, which is promised to be also a best-selling cosmetic line.

I love to ‘hang out’ with successful people. I believe their success rubs off on others around them. So since I am not around Rosie at the moment (wink wink), I would love to read about how she got to where she is today, and this Glamour issue promises to contain all her juicy career secrets, which is right up my street. Rosie also dishes out some beauty tips on how to contour like a supermodel, so that will be something I would be interested in as well. I have recently discovered the power of a good contour, so learning some more tips from a beauty guru will be ace.

Another feature in this issue, I am interested in, is the former FBI agent feature on how to manage stress. Stress has become a friend for a long time now, and  I will like to put an end to that friendship this year. I need to know how to work smarter and be more productive.

I will be getting a copy of this issue when next I pop out to the stores. Looks like it is going to be a good read.

What do you think of this issue? Will you be reading?

Drop me a comment, let’s chat.

Thanks for reading.

Millie Mackintosh Covers Cosmopolitan UK February 2016

Cosmopolitan UK - February 2016

Now this is what I call an exciting cover girl. I will definitely be getting my hands on this Cosmopolitan issue. I am excited to see Millie Mackintosh on it, if you watch Made in Chelsea, then you will know who she is, as she was one of the original cast members, and if you don’t watch Made in Chelsea, why don’t you? Lol…Just kidding, I have stopped watching it myself, I got a little bored with their very posh lifestyle. I prefer TOWIE any day, the old TOWIE, that is, the last couple of TOWIE seasons have been painfully boring. The producers better do something about the cast and their boring story lines.

Anyways, back to Millie Mackintosh on the Cosmo cover, I like the fact that she looks very simple in a white shirt, I almost didn’t recognise her. You would think she would go all glamed up. Something different and unexpected is always good. I would love to read about her business and her marriage, a lot of drama went down on social media after her wedding, so reading the gist from the horse’s mouth should be interesting.

I am also loving the £1 price tag, very smart of Cosmo, as most people are broke. My bank balance is currently in a bad state BUT I should be able to find a pound coin somewhere right? Anything for Millie….

I will also love to own one of her designs, Millie is a fashion designer/author/health ambassador; I have been reading a lot about her new collection on Twitter, and I like all what I have been seeing  so far.

The office politics feature also looks like a great read. Cosmo delivers most of the time, and that is the reason why it is one of my favourite magazines. This cover is currently on sale. Will you be picking a copy? Sound off in the comment section.

Thanks for reading and have a great day.
