Product Review: VITASTIK Vitamin Vaporisers

VITASTIK Image

Happy Sunday Folks. I have a product review to share with you on this beautiful cloudy Sunday, cloudy where I am anyways, and it is a very different type of product. I bring to you VITASTIK, a vitamin vaporizer. This product is a nicotine- and tobacco-free electronic cigarette. perfect for those trying to stop smoking. It comes in 5 different flavours – Energize, Grace, Refresh, Calm and Relax, each contains various vitamins, so instead of inhaling and exhaling harmful tobacco and nicotine, smokers and non-smokers, who enjoy a bit of ‘puff-puff’, can unwind with a VITASTIK indoors or outdoors.

The VITASTIK Relax sounds right up my street. I love the combination of fresh berries, huckleberries and blackcurrant, and these days, I am happy to try anything meant to help me RELAX. My life at the moment is just too busy with running a household and juggling a blog full-time. VITASTIK Calm is also another favourite, the mix of vanilla and green tea, obtained naturally sounds delicious.

I have quite a lot to say about this product but before I get right into it, let’s read what the brand has to say about this new innovative product:

VitaStik? What is it? VitaStik® is an innovative, nicotine and tobacco-free e-cigarette. Instead of containing harmful substances, it delivers vapour that is rich in taste, vitamins, natural aroma and organic plant constituents. VitaStik® embodies what you enjoy about smoking. But without the bad aftertaste, the tobacco smoke and the cigarette smell.

No harmful tar or nicotine. Just Vitamin A, B, C and E as well as CoQ10. Furthermore, VitaStik® convinces visually with its modern and clear design. It is far ahead of conventional e-cigarettes and provides natural aroma, water vapour, plant constituents and valuable vitamins, thereby using the same technology that is used in other e-cigarettes. Below you can learn more about Vitastik®.

Here are my thoughts:

PROS
  1. I love the bright, colourful packaging, and the chic design. So cute.
  2. I like the cheekiness of the name – VITASTIK. The name explains what the product is about – vitamins in a stick.
  3. I love the fact that there is a variety of flavours and vitamins in each stick.
  4. I love the fact that smokers and non smokers can enjoy puffing these e cigarettes.
  5. I like the thought of vitamins being included in each stick.
  6. It is value for money. One stick goes for £6.50 and you get approximately 500 puffs from each stick. That is a bargain.
  7. No lighter required, it lights up as soon as you drag on it.
  8. No smoke or bad breath, it is all VAPOUR.
  9. You can enjoy a VITASTIK anywhere, on the go, in a coffee shop, or at a party.
  10. All flavours are naturally obtained which help produce the pleasant vapour smell of each flavour.

Product Review: Loxx Virgin Malysian Loose Waves

New Hair Review

Hey peoples. It is a new week, and I have a new product review post for you. This week, I am reviewing Loxx Virgin Malaysian Loose Waves. I received 3 bundles of this Virgin Malaysian Loose Wave hair extensions in 20 inches and a silk base closure in 16 inches from the lovely people at Loxx some weeks ago, and I have been dying to try it out. I finally got them installed some days ago and I am super impressed with the overall look of the hair.

One of my New Year Fashion and Style Resolutions for 2016 is to play with my hair styles a little more. I played it too safe in 2015, but this year, you are going to be seeing a lot of different hair styles on the blog, so watch this space.

Now back to this post of today, Loxx Hair is a small team of dedicated specialists based in London, UK.  Their mission is to help women look and feel fabulous, by selling 100% human Remy hair weave in Grades 6A and 7A.

Here is what Loxx has to say about this hair extensions:

Loxx 100% Virgin Brazilian Hair is completely natural and chemical free, It meets our rigorous standards of being unprocessed and pure. It can be washed, cut, straightened, curled, dyed as you desired to create a natural, comfortable style, and changes your look in an instant.

Here is what Loss has to say about the silk hair closure:

Loxx Silk Base Closure is worn with a weave to give a natural looking hair-line. The Silk Base Closure is 100% virgin Human hair that can be styled in various ways. The Silk Base material creates a scalp for this closure, and therefore can be parted and styled in any way.

Now here are my thoughts:

PROS

  1. I did not need to add-on any more hair. The 3 bundles and closure were more than enough to achieve the BIG hair don’t care look I was going for.
  2. It is super shiny and curly. The hair has a natural shine to it. You will be needing minimal hair spray with this beauty.
  3. This hair is 100% virgin/unprocessed, and super soft to touch.
  4. It can be washed, dyed, straightened, and curled. I love the fact that I can style this hair in various ways. I can’t wait to play around with this hair.

New Hair Review

This is the look straight out of the box.

CONS

  1. There has been a bit of shedding and a bit of tangle as well.
  2. The hair is 20 inches but doesn’t look like it, and that is because it is so curly. My advice will be to go for a 22/24 inches set, if you want a longer look.

I love this hair a lot and I see myself using it over and over again. You can grab yours at Loxx, the sale is currently on, prices start from £49.77 for a 3 pack, in 8 inches, and goes up to £250.56 for a 3 pack, in 30 inches.

Product Review: AEOS Skin Products

AEOS

I had the pleasure of receiving a set of AEOS (Active Energised Organic Skincare) skincare products some weeks ago, and these products have kept me so busy. I received 10 small samples of various AEOS skin products and if I were asked to describe the products in one word, it would be – heavenly. I have never met a set of products that smell sooooooo good. Before I go any further, let me go back to the beginning…………………………

AEOS Cleansing Oil De-Maq

An oil-based cleanser containing a blend of organic and biodynamic essential oils, plant extracts and the energies of gems and crystals, for skin that tends towards dehydration. The blend of sesame, avocado and spelt oils help in the removal of make-up and impurities for a gentle yet effective cleanse, whilst helping to maintain the delicate moisture balance of the skin. Can also be used for removing eye make-up.

Here are my thoughts:

PROS

  1. It smells amazing. Like, you need to try it for yourself so you understand how amazing it smells.

CONS

  1. I found it a little too oily for my face, so if you have a combination skin like I do, you may want to stay away from this product.
  2. It is £39.99 for a 75ml bottle. I find that a little too pricey for the product.
  3. It does not remove all make-up. I find that when I have full on make up on, it takes away a bit of it, but not all.

AEOS Dew Facial Wash

A gentle and mild cleansing wash containing a blend of organic and biodynamic essential oils, plant extracts and the energies of gems and crystals that helps to relax the skin for easier absorption of the plant extracts, whilst conditioning and hydrating oils from neroli, lemon and honey gently refresh your complexion.

Here are my thoughts:

PROS

  1. The smell again is divine like all the others.
  2. It washes the face nicely, doing what it says on the bottle.

CONS

  1. At £39.99 for a 100ml bottle, some may find it pricey. I know I do.

AEOS Products

AEOS Refreshing Hydrating Mist

A refreshing facial mist containing a blend of organic and biodynamic essential oils, plant extracts and the energies of gems and crystals offering a delicate and unique level of hydration, made from a carefully selected blend of fruit and flower hydrosols to refresh and balance the complexion. Spray a few times and enjoy its refreshing fragrance at the same time.

Here are my thoughts:

PROS

  1. The fragrance is indeed amazing. I love it.
  2. I apply this mist lightly over the face and neck immediately after cleansing my face, and before I apply moisturizers or serums, and it locks in the moisture once I do apply the moisturizers and serums.
  3. I also use it throughout the day to refresh my makeup, so I love the fact that it is a multi-purpose product.

CONS

  1. Like all the other products, I would say the price may be an issue for myself and others. At £54.99 for a 100ml bottle, this does not come cheap.

AEOS Realive Serum

A luxurious and intensive serum containing a blend of organic and biodynamic essential oils, plant extracts and the energies of gems and crystals that provide a multi-layered delivery of both hydration and moisture.

Here are my thoughts:

PROS

  1. This product nourishes my skin. I have noticed a glow on my face since I started using this serum. It’s like my face has come alive.
  2. It smells amazing. I love the sweet-smelling fragrance.
  3. I apply a small amount of the Realive Serum immediately after applying the hydrating mist, in order to maximise the moisturising effect, and my skin feels well moisturised after each use.
  4. My face looks and feels a lot smoother.

CONS

  1. Just like the other products, the only issue is the price. This Realive Serum goes for £105 for a 50ml bottle.

AEOS Skin Products

AEOS Gentle Exfoliant

A gentle face exfoliant rich in seed oils and our biodynamic spelt oil which helps to nourish and hydrate the skin during the process of exfoliation, leaving the skin soft, smooth & receptive to the moisturising products to follow.

Here are my thoughts:

PROS

  1. I apply this exfoliant to my damp skin after cleansing, and it feels silky smooth, after rinsing off with lukewarm water.
  2. It is so gentle, perfect for sensitive skins.
  3. It smells amazing like all the others.

CONS

  1. Like all the others, the only issue may be the price tag. You can grab this for £35.98 for a 30ml tube.

AEOS Gentle Cleansing Lotion

A gentle cleanser containing a blend of organic and biodynamic essential oils, plant extracts and the energies of gems and crystals to assist in the removal of make-up and impurities whilst helping to maintain the delicate moisture balance of the skin. Application with water stimulates the active ingredients from plant extracts and fruit oils.

Here are my thoughts:

PROS

  1. It does assist in the removal of makeup. Which simply it takes off some parts of the makeup, but not all.
  2. It smells beautifully.

CONS

  1. A 75ml bottle goes for £49.99 which I also find a bit expensive.

Energising Conditioner

A blend of organic and biodynamic essential oils, plant extracts and the energies of gems and crystals encourage hydration and moisture, leading the skin to its natural balance without being too oily or too dry.

Here are my thoughts:

PROS

  1. I applied a tiny amount (2 squeezes) of the Energising Conditioner, and my skin felt soft and smooth after using it.
  2. Like all the other products, this Energising Conditioner smells lovely.

CONS

  1. A 30ml bottle goes for £54.99, too expensive.

AEOS Enriching Moisturiser

A blend of organic and biodynamic essential oils, plant extracts and the energies of gems and crystals – this is the final step of the AEOS Skincare Sequence to seal in all the positive benefits of hydration and penetrative moisturisation from the previous products. This light non-greasy moisturiser is absorbed quickly to help protect and hydrate the skin. Particularly beneficial for environmentally damaged, tired skin or if you are exposed to air-conditioned environments.

Here are my thoughts:

PROS

  1. I have noticed a huge difference in my skin, it looks hydrated, and so SMOOTH.
  2. This moisturiser smells like a SPA, love it.

CONS

  1. A 50ml bottle goes for £58.99.

AEOS Beauty Body Shower

A gentle cleansing wash for the body, containing a blend of organic and biodynamic essential oils, plant extracts and the energies of gems and crystals. Rich in rosemary, white birch and gardenia which leave the skin feeling fresh and soft.

PROS

  1. I was happy to see the light price tag of £10.99 for a 75ml bottle.
  2. It smells amazing.
  3. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and soft.

CONS

None.

AEOS Beauty Body Lotion

This moisturiser is full of nourishing organic and biodynamic oils and plant extracts to help hydrate and soothe, leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth.

PROS

  1. I love this beauty lotion a lot. The fragrance stays on all day and it smells so good.
  2. It sorts out all the dry parts on the skin so well.

CONS

  1. A 75ml bottle goes for £35.98.

Overall, I find AEOS products AMAZING and I do recommend most of them. They help achieve a healthy glowing complexion, and that alone is worth any price tag. So if you can afford to spoil yourself, grab some of these products and enjoy a spa day at home. Your skin would thank you for it.

What do you think of these products? Have you tried any before?
