OOTD: The Cape Trend

Fashion Blogger UK Image

Hey peeps. Happy Monday. I hope you all had a lovely Valentine’s Day. I did, I received some lovely presents, and we had a nice Thai lunch and binged on Netflix after. We are currently watching Breaking Bad, currently on season 3, and loving it. It was the best weekend ever. I hope you had a great time.

On the other hand, the weather has been HORRID, for lack of a better word. It has been so windy and cold. I think February has been the coldest month this winter. I am so looking forward to spring, I am so over winter already, I can’t wait for March to be here. The only thing I will miss is the winter layering, I find it so easy to look stylish during winter. It is the best fashion season ever.

Luckily for me, it was cold, but bright enough to get some good shots so I took advantage of the weather, before heading out.

I have always loved the cape layering. I find capes so easy to style, and I think they look super chic over a lovely dress or top and skirt like I have on here. The good thing about capes as well is they can be worn as a light cover during spring and autumn months, so they are a good investment. I have quite a couple in my wardrobe, and I am so looking forward to styling them all differently. You will be seeing a lot of capes on Fashion and Style Police, so get ready to be inspired.

Not sure about how the weather is at your end, but It rained cats and dogs over the weekend here in Cheshire, and it is still raining. The weather is beginning to drive me mad. One minute it is cool and mild, and even sunny, the next minute, it is painfully cold and wet. However, I was determined not to  let the rain stop me from getting my action outfit shots taken. So out in the rain, I poised, crazy I know, but I loved it. This act alone has convinced me on how much I love running Fashion and Style Police, not like I needed convincing to be honest, but as at now, I don’t see myself ever stopping ever, maybe when I am old and grey, and can’t operate a camera or a laptop. Guess my baby girl would be in charge of this space by then, if she wants it, I hope she does, I think she will. She is so into shoes at the minute, hahaha.

Outfit Post OOTD

For this outfit post, I had the pleasure of reviewing this Pertz shapewear leggings, and I must confess, I was expecting to receive a good old pair of leggings but this piece is a lot more. This pair of leggings feels amazing on the skin, there is this silky feel, shimmer look, and it suits like a glove. I went for a medium size, and it was a perfect fit, hugging my body in the right places, with no saggy or baggy knees, and it felt super comfortable.

Every pair of Pertz leggings comes with a hidden tummy control panel for support and comfort, no bum look, because the quality of the fabric used, will provide a smooth backside, and as for the legs, I love the definition and shape I got in this piece. My legs looked amazing wearing it.
