OOTD: A Summer Dress

Fashion Blogger UK Picture

‘I like being a woman, even in a man’s world. After all, men can’t wear dresses, but we can wear the pants.’ – Whitney Houston.

Gosh I miss Whiteney Houston. I am listening to one of her hits – ‘One Moment in Time’, and it is so sad to know we will never hear anything new from  that golden voice again. I loved Whitney, and her quote above was one of my fashion favourite quotes.

I am a jeggings and top girl, but I also love my skirts and my dresses, especially my dresses. I really enjoy wearing dresses, especially in the summer. There is nothing like rocking a cute floral summery dress on a warm summer day. It is the best. I find dresses super comfy and easy to style on warm days. I got this stunning skater dress some weeks ago and this was my first time wearing. I love the design and cut a lot. It was also a perfect fit. This new addition in my summer dresses collection is now a favourite, and I will be wearing this beauty some more. I have a couple of outings planned in the next couple of weeks, so I am happy I am sorted in the dress department.

I found this skater floral dress very easy to style. I wanted to style it up with a pair of sandals because it has been dead warm over here in Cheshire, so I went for my golden tan sandal and paired it up with this brown bag. I didn’t plan this look in advance, it just fell into place and looked good. I am loving this new method of just going with the flow with styling outfits. Looks like it is working prettily well for me.

Last week was so busy blog-wise. I got back from my Amsterdam holiday, last Monday, and I had so many collaborations to get started, and that is why I was unable to post an outfit feature so I really hope you like this outfit and are inspired by it.
