Favourites Outfit Posts Mid Year Review

Where is 2017 running to? I can’t believe the month of June is almost over. I also can’t believe I haven’t published a single outfit post this month. I did try to post an outfit post at some point, but life got in the way, and I didn’t get to post any. I promise to make up for the gap in July, but for now, I leave with you my favourite outfit posts for the last 6 months.

A Beaded Black Dress

I wore this outfit earlier in the year, it is one of the best outfits I have worn this year. I love the Blue Vanilla beaded dress. It is a perfect fit, and there is something elegant about it. I also love the grey NEXT blazer. It gave the outfit a whole new look.

The Oversized Trend & the Petite Woman

This is another outfit I really like. I love the relaxed chic look. The highlight of the outfit is the Apricot Charcoal Sequin Cocoon Cardigan. I think it finishes off the look so beautifully.

Gucci Birthday Present

I love everything about this look. It is definitely at the top of my favourite outfits posts for 2017 so far. I love the Gucci bag and NEXT jumper. I also love the location; it was Milan and it was my birthday, a birthday I would never forget.

Calling the Shots

This outfit is another special one. I love the styling and the photos turned out so great. I would rock this look again. It is one of those looks that was just so easy to style.

Spring Fashion

Spring was a great fashion season on Fashion and Style Police, and this spring fashion outfit was the TRUTH! The Miss Selfridge leather jacket was the highlight of look.

April 2017 Outfits

April was an interesting month for outfits. I styled some interesting pieces, and I am looking forward to styling even more interesting outfits this month. Last month, the outfits were all about comfort, so they were all casual and chilled, which is how I see spring.

Here is a brief recap of April 2017 outfits for those who missed it.

OOTD: Casual Spring Look

The Denim Look Outfit Image

This is definitely my favourite look for the month of April. The denim and red looked so cool together. I am definitely going to rock this entire look again.

I love everything about this look, and I found it incredibly easy to style, which was good.

The highlight of this look has to be denim shirt by Fulwood London. What are your thoughts on this look?

This second outfit was styled easily too. I didn’t over think the pieces or accessories at all. They all just fell in perfect places within minutes.

The highlight of this look is the leather jacket by Miss Selfridge. I really like that piece. What do you think?

OOTD: Springtime Staples

This is the last outfit for the month of April, and yes it is also a casual look. I found this outfit stylish, chic and very comfortable. The weather has been up and down over here at Cheshire, so I have had to rely on light layers to keep me comfy.

The highlight of this look has to be the Gilet by Apricot. Do you agree?

Overall, I am loving Spring Fashion. I needed a break from the warm clothes and accessories. I just need the weather to stop going up and down so much.

What do you think of these 3 outfits? Which is your favourite look?

OOTD: Style Comfort Zone

Black and grey Outfit Image

Black and silver look so good together. Who would have thought? I love how minimal and chic they look styled together. This outfit has autumn style written all over it!

I collaborated with the lovely people at Boohoo to bring to you this black and silver outfit. If you remember my last collaboration with Boohoo, it was the Black Friday Outfit post I featured sometime last year, which I enjoyed styling because it was an all black outfit. This time, the idea behind this collaboration is to feature a secret piece styled in my own way. This secret piece is this Emmaline satin slip dress I have on right here.

Now to be honest, I won’t have picked this dress at all. I won’t even have considered it. So when it arrived in the post, I was a bit disappointed. But when it came to styling it, I find it so easy to style. I went for black accessories because I knew they would look good amazing paired next to the dress. And I went for a leather jacket and ankle boot because they add an edge to the look, and they also usher in Autumn. I am now looking forward to Autumn Fashion, can you tell?

I have now fallen in love with this satin slip dress. And I need to thank Boohoo for taking me out of my style comfort zone. I won’t have pictured it this good. I now need to experiment some more with my style.
